This remix to Porter Robinson’s ‘Sad Machine’ is absolutely gorgeous. It left me frozen in my seat. Phil Schwan perfectly transforms a title full of sorrow into a joyous melody. It is creative and filled with energy. I’m happy that he’s been brought to my attention and there is no doubt that he’ll continue to provide such original material in the future. Listen up and listen good. Appleby has been grabbing my attention with each of his few but powerful releases. Today we welcome Him and his brand new single Drinkin’ to FNT. He brings a new and different sound with each new song, and Drinkin’ is no different. Bee actually had a quick something to say about the song:
“The concept and act of drinking is a newly formed habit of mine. Introduced to me last year through an adventurous relationship that ended in mutual silence. Drinkin’ gives insight but reserves the details for a future release.”
What impresses me so much with Appleby and his sound is the artistry behind it. Whether it is the hooks, verses, or production, everything builds together in fantastic harmony.
