Doc Hollywood & Alastor hit us with their latest release “Back To You” an anthemic progressive house banger that’s going to get you inspired. My friend put me on to these guys with this track, and the light and sweet production behind this one still manages to capture the big room feel. Incorporating piano, guitar, cello with electro elements, this makes for a smooth build up for a fun and catchy drop that’ll make you feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside. This rework of Cashmere Cat‘s “Rice Rain” is fun and catches your attention right off the bat. Personally, I love the use of the rain drop sample… so perfectly constructed. Twinztrack is definitely on my radar now.

Trey Palms has been on my radar for quite some time now and with his newest release, “Back of My Mind”, he has solidified in my mind the ability that he has to create catchy rap-R&B records. Trey has been working hard to live out his music dreams, travelling between his hometown of Baltimore and New York City. And, although I’m sure it isn’t easy, the hard work shows in his most recent work.

Though some have criticized Wiz Khalifa for being repetitive with his lyricism and unprogressive with his albums, he has still found a way to become one of the biggest, most recognizable artists in the world. His ‘DayToday’ show series, which gives you a look in on Wiz’s everyday activities, allows fans to feel more connected with the artist and his music while he still gets to goof off and have shit tons of fun. In this third episode of the Australian tour, Taylor Gang leaves smoke trails all over the coast, and even A$AP Rocky can’t resist asking Wiz for a little bit to chill out after a show. Trap | Slugabed – Waterfallssssss

Slugabed, from London, released his unique tune “Waterfallssssss” today. Although I can’t explain this artwork, this trap track is really fun. The beats are hard hitting, and have a sort of tribal vibe going on. Vocal chops and samples during the drops add a more finished touch. My favorite drop is the last one at 3:05. Check it out!
