Progressive House | Paris Blohm – Believe
Posted by Mel on September 14, 2013
This has certainly been a breakout year for LA based producer Paris Blohm and after a few months wait, he is now back with another free original. Instead of taking the darker, hard hitting route that most of his songs tend to go, he has chosen to show his more harmonic and cheerful style in a rather short but fun instrumental. Like his most popular song “Presence”, this too is dedicated to his lost sister Chloe.

Dubstep | MNRS – Arms (Virtual Riot Remix)
Posted by BP on September 9, 2013

I’m sure some of you heard some of the other remixes of “Arms” by MNRS by Olugbenga and Cats Hero many months ago, and now 19 year old German producer Virtual Riot has put out his version for MNRS’s “Arms (Single & Remixes)” EP official release this last week! Virtual Riot was the only one to take a dubstep spin on the track, and his exciting, bass-filled version is such a fun listen. It keeps the cool indie pop vibes of the original while adding the deep bass and growls us dubstep lovers crave. The EP is now available on US, UK, and German iTunes!

Chill, Indie, Progressive House | Ianick – Run Out of Steam + Color World
Posted by Mel on August 28, 2013
Ianick is a 20 year old producer from Norway and this is his big debut on FNT. He has been relatively quiet in terms of releases for quite some time now but he has made up for it with a slew of new tunes today. He is primarily a progressive house producer, but the two tracks that stood out to me were of the slower, atmospheric progressive type. “Run Out of Steam” is the extra that didn’t make it onto his Nostalgia EP and is free for you to enjoy. It is the more easy going track of the two I’ve chosen and was a nice surprise to come across. I had only heard of his commercial stuff before this, and it was good, but after listening to this it shows that he is capable of producing outside of that comfort zone.

“Color World” is actually a cut off his EP and therefore is not free. Sorry. I gave the EP a listen and this is my favorite song off of it so I figured it was worth sharing anyway. It is more upbeat and fun than the previous track, providing a nice contrast between two well executed styles.

Trap | Wizard – Who Am I?
Posted by BP on August 28, 2013

Wizard has this impeccable style of vocal chopping that is very clearly displayed in this track. “Who Am I?” is some fun trap to get lost in. It’s unique and bouncy, to say the least. It samples the famous “Sweet Dreams” by Eurythmics over some snares and kicks that keep it funky. It’s sure to get stuck in your head all week, so lucky for us, it’s out for free download thanks to Cream Collective and Trapdoor Records!
Chill, Hip-Hop | Radical Something – Spraypaint (Video)
Posted by admin on August 22, 2013
Gearing up for what is arguably the biggest release of their career, Radical Something continues on a streak of great music releases. Just mere weeks away from the Ride It Out album premiere, one can only imagine how excited Loggy, Josh and Big Red are. The album is a result of months and months locked away in the studio, and surely anticipation from RadSo and their fans is at its tipping point.
If “Spraypaint” is a taste of the music we can expect on Ride It Out, I cannot wait to get my copy of the album on September 2nd. Light-hearted and fun, “Spraypaint” brings about a positive vibe and deeper underlying message about spreading the love.
So, spread the love and pre-order Radical Something’s album here! And be sure to catch them on their almost-two month tour in a city near you!
Electronic, Trap | Drake – The Motion (King Henry Bootleg)
Posted by BP on August 16, 2013

This little tune is so funky and crisp. King Henry’s bootleg of “The Motion” by Drake doesn’t sound much like the original, but is super fun to listen to. It’s relaxing while still being bouncy and light. The track feels like it’s just floating along with the altered vocals from Drake. This is a good one to play at your Friday night parties, and it’s free!
