I don’t even believe this, I wasted a month convincing myself not to post this Mr. Saxobeat song which I’m 2 blog years late on (so 8 months in real time) and then along came two freshman girls with the epic video above and boom both tracks make their FNT debut when they’re blatantly not new. You can’t really blame me though because do these two old ass songs go together like a grandma and grandpa or do they go together like a grandma and grandpa? The only downside is this guy definitely isn’t playing his saxophone, I mean he’s got to be using all his powers to concentrate on those humps which definitely didn’t come naturally for him..

MicControl catches up with Aziz as he begins his freshman year at Brandeis University. Aziz talks about balancing school, basketball and his growing rap career as well as his new video with his group the M.A.C. and his upcoming mixtape “Leave Me Az Iz”. Don’t get me wrong, I love this new wave of hip-hop. I know we post it all the time. I just miss the Pimp some days. He was the realest that ever did it. When I was a freshman in college, I had an opportunity to see UGK perform in Dallas. I waited around until 12:30 and at that time they still hadn’t arrived. For various reasons, I didn’t end up staying and missed out on watching his performance for the very first time. The next week, he passed away. I’ve always regretted that night. Who knew it would be the last time he ever performed in Dallas. Hit the jump for my favorite interview of all time. Shout out to Yara.

I recently had an awesome picture sent to me about a FNT themed cooler via Facebook!. After searching high and low, I finally found its creator. McKinley, a freshman at Southern Methodist University was responsible for this beautiful creation. When I asked about her cooler, she told me “The whole cooler literally took about twenty hours. The cooler was music themed and I love the logo so I thought it would make a great side to the cooler!” Fresh New Tracks would like to send our thanks to McKinely for her continued support and a big shout out to the DG’s of Southern Methodist University.

Personally, I love this track but it might not appeal to our average viewer. Like a fine delicacy, the Dubstep genre is definitely an acquired taste. Down the road I plan on putting together a post dedicated to dubstep which will hopefully expand your musical palettes.

I am equally impressed with this Brenton Duvall remix as I was with his Lil Wayne and Passion Pit mashup titled Ambien. Both of them have a very unique and innovative sound – hopefully we will see more out of this college freshman from Potomac, MD.
