Future House | TKDJS’ Remix of “Never Say Never” Will Have You Gettin’ Down On The Dance Floor
Posted by Tay on August 11, 2015
TKDJS never fail to amaze me with the quality of their productions. Fresh off the release of their stellar remix of Blonde’s “All Cried Out,” the NYC-based producer trio has released a second remix in less than a month’s time – an ode to their tireless work effort – and this time, they’ve taken on the legendary UK electronic duo, Basement Jaxx, and their hit, “Never Say Never.” The swiftly emerging trio of producers has made a name for themselves with their out-of-the-box take on future house, as they masterfully morph vocal anthems into bass-heavy future house jams, and their remix of “Never Say Never” is no different. ETML’s vocals are nicely complemented with a booming, piano-driven melody before TKDJS peel back the curtain to reveal thumping kicks and glitchy, evolving synth progressions.

Albums | Chris Miles contemplates the stability of stardom on “Psychotic”
Posted by Gandhi on August 8, 2015
16-year-old Long Island rapper Chris Miles contemplates the stability of stardom with “Psychotic,” the lead single from his forthcoming Milestones EP. In the pensive track, Miles examines where he is in his career and if the life he’s headed towards will satisfy his aspirations or make him “Psychotic.” Produced by Nick Monson, the instrumental’s heightened energy makes way for Miles’ confident verses illustrating his drive towards a life in the spotlight that he’s reluctant to embrace, weighing the positives and negatives that come along with it. “I am confused, is this life really what it’s cracked up to be,” Miles asks while in the midst of a national tour.

A couple months back a side project known as “Cigntaure” popped up out of nowhere with an amazing remix of “Some Nights.” The remix is now in rotation on Sirius XM’s BPM, featured on Proximity, and has hundreds of thousands of plays in no time. Many have suggested that this side project is no other than Audien which we have to agree with based on the level of production and the sound. Cignature comes to us today with his take on Ember Island’s cover of “Where Are U Now,” snag the free download below!

Deep House | TÂCHES Dazzles With His Latest Deep House Masterpiece, “Eat Your Friends”
Posted by Tay on August 5, 2015
Even though we’ve been a fan of TACHES for years now, but we still have no idea who he is. When a little birdie told me he had a new song coming out this week, I decided to do some digging to see what I could find out ahead of the release, but it wasn’t much. We’ve only got a few tracks on his SoundCloud, but just looking at the names can give you an idea of who TACHES is – a sarcastic and witty European whose wit and humor shines through in his music. His last track was “Prints of Whales,” a clever wordplay on the Prince of Wales, and the track he released today is titled “Eat Your Friends,” and features vocals from Shoffy. On “Eat Your Friends,” TACHES has a serious deep house brew going on, as he starts with a scratchy melody and slowly adds more and more elements, finally turning it into a full blown deep house jam.

Time after time after time, Trademark has proven that he truly is the mashup king. With his last release putting up a monster half a million plays in just one month (check it here), he is back with an amazing summer/fall anthem. I don’t know if this original vocal is “country” or what, but I love it.
