Mix, Trap | Jesse Slayter – The Future FM Mix
Posted by Middy on April 22, 2014
Louisiana native and LSU student, Jesse Slayter is not just a normal college student. While his peers were heading down to Buku Music & Arts Festival to see acts like Nas, Zedd, Kaskade and Chance The Rapper, he was also heading down for a totally different reason, to perform. His discography already reads like that of a seasoned vet and the artists who have supported him (Skrillex, Diplo, Valentino Khan, UZ, etc) make most of his peers envious. He recently dropped an exquisitely crafted mix that is some mid-tempo magic, switching between trap, sensual rnb influenced beats, and some moombah madness. He packs in a whole bunch of unreleased tunes, including his upcoming collab with Wuki.

Progressive House | Kill FM ft. Leah Hayes – Lies (Melodic Mix)
Posted by Mel on February 19, 2014
The Swedish production duo by the name of Kill FM released their original mix of “Lies” a little over a week ago and to celebrate, are giving away their melodic mix to that very track. If you are familiar with the original, the melodic mix is literally the same exact thing, with the only difference being the drop. Kill FM, brilliantly named, is known for their bass heavy take on electro house and that is what the original song was. The melodic mix, however, is exactly what it sounds like, uplifting. Also, possibly melodic. The drop seems to fit more naturally in this version making it my preferred of the two.

Hip-Hop | David Guetta ft. Nicki Minaj – Turn Me On
Posted by Grubeats on September 8, 2011
If you purchased Guetta’s 2-disc album, “Nothing But the Beat”, which dropped just over a week ago, you’re more than likely already familiar with this dosage of greatness. Judging by the success of their most recent collab, “Where Dem Girls At?”, I expected nothing less than audio gold when I first caught eye of this collab. Fortunately, the duo delivers a hit destined for the radio in little to no time. To be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised if 90% of the album made its way to the FM waves at some point. Grab the dual CD set from iTunes HERE.
Dubstep | Florence And The Machine / Mark Knight – You’ve Got The Love (Revolvr Remix)
Posted by BIGLIFE on August 24, 2011
This is soft-core dubstep at its best; beautiful vocals set off by build ups to minor yet powerful whomps. Don’t pass this one up folks, BIGLIFE will have this on deck for the rest of the month. And if you’re still infatuated by Turntable.FM, I guarantee you’ll get racks on racks on racks of points with this jam.
Mashups | Brenton Duvall – Some Other Party in Paradise (Remix)
Posted by BIGLIFE on August 9, 2011
OMG everybody grab your Brenton bags and run over to TurnTable.FM to hop in a ummm mashup room? That’s exactly what you should not do, even though this is hot off the press. Why? Because you’ll be discrediting the super producer known as Brenton Duvall who doesn’t involve himself with 1 v 1 mashups. If you’re not familiar with Brenton, welcome to FNT and listen to the track below to see what I’m saying. This one is DOPE! Here’s what Brenton had to say for himself:
I don’t think I was ever gonna drop this track…Kinda unfinished…Only been played live a few times. Phil Collins sample. Look at that young guy. Some Biggie for good measure, because remixes aren’t remixes until Biggie’s on them. Then it’s a real remix.
