Pretty Lights is just getting deeper in the dubstep. This is one of his heaviest tracks I’ve heard. Which to some might seem bad, but this is awesome. I wish I went to Bonnaroo this year.

Don’t worry I see you in the chatbox, and yes this dubstep/mashup was worth posting. Keep up the good work. This is the second time I have heard Eminem mashed with dubstep and he turns out to be one of the best rappers you can put on a bassline. I was really feeling the lightning for this. I saw the name of this track and almost didn’t even give it a chance. I listened to it, and it is insane! In a way it reminds me of “Cracks” from Flux Pavilion. It feels like all that ever releases now is remixes, but they are all awesome. Prepare for an insane drop.

Dillion Francis is just filthy. He enhances the whomps in this track by adding the high pitched synths (similar to what Flux Pavilion does) with each whomp and even throws in some nice melodies to give it a more mainstream feel. BOTH SONGS ARE MUST DOWNLOADS.

Yes…yes….one more, yes. Dubstep fans, this is what you live for. Flux Pavilion, one of the elite’s in the dubstep world, finally dropped the final cut of this track. By far one of the heaviest and filthiest, yet still cleanest drops my ears have been graced by. Don’t disrepesct this gem and play it on built in computer speakers, get out your beats/bose out, turn up your home theatre system, or bump it in your car.

Mashups | MASHUPS | Kap Slap 151 Mixtape

About a week ago we posted one of the best mashups I’ve heard this year which utilized one of the most monumental tracks to hit the United States in a while; Edward Maya’s “Stereo Dream.” The original track provides enough of a mainstream house feel that is made it to MTV and radios all over the nation, which (quote me on this) will take that annoying girl in your business administration class from saying she hates techno (when she really means electro), to saying Deadmau5 and Rusko are her favorite artists (kill me). REGARDLESS, Kap Slap is about to drop a massive DUBSTEP mashup featuring some of my favorite songs (Flux Pavilion’s remix of cracks, and a little skrillex) look out for that, we’ll be posting that the second it drops! Although dubstep originated in the UK and had a much more grimey feel, for the last 5 years dubstep has slowly been creeping into the music scene in the United States, especially in the last 6 months. If you played a Rusko track for me two years ago and told me that I would be listening to this music on repeat…I would have thought you were nuts. Fast forward to present day and take a look at my top 25 most played tracks on my iTunes, (beneath Halo by Beyonce) you’ll see at least 6 of those tracks are all dubstep. Flux Pavilion has penetrated the dubstep genre with filthy basslines, a nice blend of vocals, and massive drops that literally leave you’re jaw dropped.
