Bass | DEMUR Unleashes “Rebel-Club” Original “Traumatized (feat. Galvanize)”

de·mur

(verb): To voice opposition

DEMUR is looking to stir shit up a bit. His music is one part of a greater picure. Recent Facebook posts show him firing shots at sell out DJs, ghost produced producers, and other annoying aspects of the scene.

“Traumatized (feat. Galvanize)” is basically hard rock and heavy club sounds colliding. Nice to hear someone who is trying something significantly different. This won’t be the last from one of LA’s newest electronic acts.

Review | Mike Stud – Closer [Album]

Mike-Stud-Closer-Album

Studnation is back and it appears Mike is closer than he’s ever been with his latest album, Closer. In May, Mike released a video to let his fans know about his new album release. The teaser reflects on the journey Mike has made from being a star baseball prospect to an even bigger prospect as a musician. This album shows growth and maturity in Mike’s life and music. He is most focused on being happy and letting the success follow. Does he have room to grow and improve? Most certainly he does, but even Mike knows he has a long journey ahead of him.

Hip-Hop, Rap | Saba – Butter

Posted by on July 3, 2014

People who follow my postings on Fresh New Tracks, should not be surprised to see the name, Saba, appear. The straight-firing Chicago emcee has had a constant stream of music being released over the past few weeks, each song preparing listeners even more for the final body of work it fits in to.

“Butter” is his newest song and video, which flows from his mouth to your ears as smooth as –dare I say– butter. Saba touches on his family life, and other subjects close to the heart all while keeping the song positive and an enjoyable listen.

Stream the song below, and give the video a look here, if you’re interested.

Electro-House | Tiësto – Chasing Summers (R3hab & Quintino Remix)

Posted by on March 5, 2013

Hot on the heals of Dyro’s remix of “Make Some Noise” and Sidney Samson’s collab with Martin Garrixx “Torrent“, Tiesto’s Musical Freedom unleashes another remix of the label bosses singles released on Club Life Volume 2. This remix hits hard right out of the gate, tossing aside the original brooding intro from Tiesto and adds their own heavier build that leads into a hard hitting, fast firing percussive drop, making it a more suitable remix for the festival stage. They then return to the melody crafted by Tiesto in the interlude and bring back that drop one last time.

Dubstep, Preview | KillSonik – Slaughterhouse

Posted by on December 13, 2012

KillSonik’s upcoming EP, “Where The River Runs Black” was originally set for release in November, but the group decided to add a few things. Now releasing in January, this is the first official play of a track from the duo’s new EP. As expected, “Slaughterhouse” is nothing but dark filth.  Lasers and heavy bass firing into your skull, I was completely surprised by the electric guitar that strips down your spin half way through. I have been impatiently waiting for the EP since I first heard of it in the beginning of October and this preview makes the wait so much more painful.

Dubstep | R Rated #47

Posted by on September 20, 2012

Vaski released this little gem a few days ago on Beatport. The vocals are in a different tone than you are use to in Dubstep, but I think that’s what I like the most about this track… besides that tasty drop.

DarkGrey is kind of a new name for me and apparently his original of this track is releasing soon on Subfix Records in 2013. Not sure how everyone else feels, but maybe he should submit this instead. The bass just pours in your ears like a waterfall, it’s awesome.

I am so happy to see Dark Elixir make a release through a label, even if it’s a Play Me freebie. He just brought it on this remix, he drops in with straight filth. Bass cannons firing with precise accuracy.

I wasn’t too sure if this could be considered R Rated material but screw it. Virtual Riot has created a few favorites of mine, this one just adds to the list. He keeps it a little poppy, but his drop says back off man I got work to do here.

I have to give PatrikReza credit for this, it is just a really cool remix. For me it just doesn’t feel right, but I just have a feeling I’m being crazy. No one ever thinks to remix Moby with Dubstep, especially not with the filth added to this remix.
