Dubstep, Glitch, Preview | Pegboard Nerds ft Splitbreed – We Are One
Posted by Mach on January 13, 2013
I am going out on limb here, 2013 is going to be a great year for the Pegboard Nerds. They have been releasing nothing but straight fire and I believe their streak will continue. Though sadly short, this preview still reflects the pro level they are producing at. No word yet on the tracks release, but it will be awesome.
House | 95 Royale – The Neighborhood

Wow, another incredible Disco-House track from this guy, its like he is pulling rabbits out of a hat. I have been feeling Disco’s come back more than ever recently. It feels like slowly people are starting to pick up on how much fun the genre is. Fun can only lightly describe this awesome original from 95 Royal. It might be Sunday but I don’t see why anyone couldn’t have a dance party with this track today.

Hip-Hop | The Notorious BIG – Think Big (Yinyues Remix)
Posted by Mach on January 12, 2013
Yinyues produces slightly in the abstract, usually some form of chilled out Dubstep, which makes this remix a nice little treat. I really love the piano with the Hip-Hop beat, it is not something you encounter often. I always feel like some of the best tracks are too damn short. Not sure what was going through Yinyues head when he created this gem, but I wish it was longer than it is.

Drum & Bass, Dubstep | Birdy Nam Nam – Defiant Order (Phuture Doom Remix)
Posted by Mach on January 10, 2013
Damn Skrillex and his OWSLA Nest. To top it off, Phuture Doom is probably the alter-ego of a member of OWSLA seeing as he only has 300 likes on Facebook, literally had created the page on the 1st of this month. Frustration, confusion, and this remix still owns. It is an interesting take on Drumstep, not as speedy as some would imagine but nonetheless one of the sickest tunes of the month. One day we will figure out who Phuture Doom is but until then I hope to enjoy every release from he/she/them. The remix will be available January 22nd of you can grab it on The Nest now.

Dubstep, Electro, Electro-House, Preview | Feed Me – Death By Robot EP
Posted by Mach on January 10, 2013
Feed Me (AKA Spor) has been very busy the past months, it’s not easy being the CEO of Deadmau5′ record label, Mau5trap, while owning your own Drum & Bass label, Lifted. You can tell he enjoys his work though, which is why this next EP of his will be just as good as the last. Every new EP of his seems to reflect different styles. I don’t think he’s lost but I do believe he loves trying any and everything. His new EP title track “Death By Robot” sounds like it is going to be the best Electro-House track he has ever done. I know that is a tall order, but just from this small clip I am dying to have a full copy. “Gravel” is a dirty sounding Electro and Tech-House blend. Could be a little repetitive for some, but I feel like in a live setting it is just what the doctor ordered. “Dial Up Days” was a little hard for me to decipher, it’s Dubstep but Breakbeat but also Nu-Dance. Besides confusing this turned out to be a really cool, not your usual, laid back tune to dance to. Only six days away, Feed Me’s new EP releases on January 6th.
Dubstep | Kicks N Licks – Who Knows
Posted by Mach on January 10, 2013
Sev and I have been disappointed in Dubstep the past few weeks. The lack in awesome tracks to satisfy our forever high standards has led to R Rated being missing for a few weeks. I am really happy to throw this track up. Kicks N Licks created a killer original. Congrats to them on reaching 10k likes on Facebook.

Hip-Hop | CJ Trillo – Why Worry (Prod. Jim I.E)

No worries ya’ll Trill Tuesday, well Wednesday now, is here and CJ Trillo delivers yet another laid back jam produced by his right-hand man, Jim I.E. I really enjoy CJ’s music, to me it’s a fresh breath of air after listening to many of the artists I do because what he brings to the table is a different, unique style, which sets his music apart. Check out his latest project “Heavy” if you like what you hear and catch up with him via his social media outlets below.
