Logic has been fairly quiet since he hopped off tour with Cudi, Big Sean, and Tyler the Creator, dropping a loose track here and there, but for the most part, remaining relatively quiet. Well evidently along with writing and recording, Logic has been toning his production game as is evident on his newest release, “Like Me”. We’ve heard one Logic-produced track in the past, “Common Logic/Midnight Marauder ” which was co-produced by C-Sick and had a feeling more tracks were on the horizon, but this, in my opinion, is a big step forward for Logic. As Logic teased a few weeks ago, him and Casey Veggies were in the studio together, which amounted to this cold, raw new new from the two rising youngsters.
With rumors of the debut album on the way, I’m sure we’ll get a few more loose freebies before that time comes. In the meantime, keep an ear our for a Logic assisted Jon Bellion record coming with Jon’s album release, 12/10.

Tanya Morgan is a hip-hop group from Brooklyn and Cincinnati consisting of Donwill, Ilyas Nashid and Von Pea. My boy Vic shared their new track “The Vehicle” on my wall the other day, and I’m glad he did. This is some chill, smart timeless hip-hop with quality production. Today comes a new remix from the talented Etched, along with his debut album Pixelated that is out now. In the midst of a million and one Drake remixes, this one really is an attention grabber. The drums are fantastic and it’s easy to get lost in. The thing that appeals the most to me about this remix, along with Sampha’s lone release of the track is that they don’t contain the high pitched screeching of his voice like on the original with Drake (probably why Sampha released his own version) Listen up!

Hoodie Allen just sent over his latest visuals collaborating with OCD: Mooch and Twist for “All That I Know” his first single off his upcoming EP. Dev Hynes aka Blood Orange released visuals for his latest release “Time Will Tell” off his album Cupid Deluxe and it’s nothing short of amazing. According to the artist, he recorded this all in one take in about 15 minutes, then worked from there. Ironic, how it took such little time to make a timeless record, but I’m not mad at him. If you like Michael Jackson’s uplifting, inspiring music from back in the days, you’re going to like this one. This is a must listen!
