Progressive House | Example – Say Nothing (Hardwell & Dannic Remix)

Posted by on September 16, 2012

After first hearing this at Hardwell’s show at Lavo, it was apparent that Hardwell with fellow Breda man Dannic had made something special. Following their collab on “Kontiki“, these two come together one more time to give “Say Nothing” the spark it needed. Hardwell & Dannic have paved their careers with their own sounds, but with this remix they take the more anthemic route with a smooth build, meshing perfectly with Example’s vocals and then a uplifting drop mixing in bits of the chorus from Example. Let the production prowess of Hardwell & Dannic wash over you as their well oiled melodies make this a must have fall track.

Dubstep, Videos | Calvin Harris feat. Example – We’ll Be Coming Back (Feature Cuts Remix) [Music Video]

Posted by on September 6, 2012

It has been awhile since we last got our hands on a new Feature Cuts remix and the wait has been worth it. He just released a huge Dubstep remix of Calvin Harris’ hit single “We’ll Be Coming Back” featuring Example. Be careful when the drop hits, especially the second one because it is pretty dirty. Accompanying the remix is a dope video remix of the original music video as well. Someone commented on Soundcloud that the remix is “exactly what a magical T-Rex that poops out rainbow lasers sounds like.” Is that true? See for yourself and grab the free download below.

Electro-House, Progressive House | Calvin Harris feat. Example – We’ll Be Coming Back (Original + Remixes)

Posted by on July 29, 2012

Example has become one of the premier singers in dance music having just recently completed a sold out arena tour around Europe and his talent is on display with his collab with Calvin Harris “We’ll Be Coming Back”. Calvin Harris’ melody works incredibly well to accentuate Example’s vocals creating a track that has the potential to be the follow up to “Let’s Go” and “Feel So Close”. Calvin Harris may soon be entering the realm to hit maker whether he intended it or not with the way his productions are leading him. R3hab has two remixes on this package, the one above is the more heavily supported of the two with its progressive sound, especially for R3hab as he holds back from excessive use of saws and allows the melodies of the track to carry it to the finish line. The EDC Las Vegas remix uses his saws and has a harder, more electro sound to it. Michael Woods’ remix has a similar sound to R3hab’s EDC NY remix, though it adds a few different elements with some stops and stutters and a some different layered synths. Jacob Plant makes the heaviest of the remixes with very relaxing builds and interludes and then a heavy electro house drop with some moombahton influences in the second drop. Of the remixes in this package the Jacob Plant & R3hab’s EDC NY remixes take the cake for me, but they are all great and on the heals of Zedd’s “Spectrum” remix package coming out in two days, this will be a great week for remixes.
