On April 21st, ECL Group’s Electric Candy Land Events, a top-tier New York-based EDM events promoter, will be launching their first ever ALL AGES EDM SERIES at the legendary concert and nightlife venue, Highline Ballroom. Electric Candy Land Events was responsible for numerous shows in 2013 at venues such as the newly minted Stage 48 with top artists like Tim Mason, Hard Rock Sofa, Eva Shaw, Chuckie, and The Chainsmokers as they build momentum into the spring of 2014.
Electric Candy Land Events provides an experience like none other in New York City; it will focus on the quality of events with breathtaking visuals, fire-breathers, aerialists, and free giveaways. Happy Friday, everyone. We’ve got some great stuff going on so buckle in and get ready. First up is the awesome music video for “Zombies in Love,” the bubbly, warm weather-ready new single from Manufactured Superstars. Thanks to some seriously nifty stop-motion animation, we’re transported to a Lego galaxy far, far away, where our spacesuit-loving protagonists are busy presiding over an intergalactic rave. I won’t divulge the ending but it’s sweetly and unexpectedly heartwarming. Is Lego animation the next big trend in music videos? Too soon to tell, but I certainly hope it catches on. If you can’t get enough of this track, you’re in luck — a massive remix package is set to drop on April 9 via Big Beat / Magik Musik and we’ve got the previews below.

Events | Electric Zoo: Day 1

Although things started off slowly, I forgot this isn’t the west coast where Fridays are optional, by seven o’clock the Electric Zoo fields and stages were flooded with raging fans. Getting there early wasn’t such a bad move, mind you, since we were able to familiarize ourselves with the various stages, their media pits, and of course, the food and beverage tents. The Four stages of EDM fury featured Tiesto, Moby, Benassi, MSTRKRFT, Rusko, Robbie Rivera, and several other mind blowing acts. The next two days look equally impressive, bringing in the likes of Skrillex, Above and Beyond, and Guetta for Sat and Armin, Afrojack, Calvin Harris, and Alesso to name a few.
