The world is sleeping on this drum n bass remix by Australian producer Studio-X of StoneBridge & Caroline D’Amore’s “Live Life” record. StoneBridge is a legend in the EDM game, and I was introduced to Mrs D’Amore via her EDM show Heartbeatz Radio on Skee 24/7. Together they put together an uplifting house record to keep us all motivated, just like the hook says “live life…today!” Studio-X’s remix makes this track even bigger adding synths for melody, and speeding the track up a bit. No doubt about it, get this this free download, and blast this tune!  Must listen and must download!

elephante - pretty lights

Today, I introduce you to Elephante. Hailing from sunny California, Elephate is an EDM producer, specializing in a big room sound. His latest dance floor hit, “Pretty Lights” comes complete with a stomach-thumping bass-line and jabbing synths. The deep vocals from Rohan Kymal really round off the track and make for a fantastic piece of art. Enjoy, “Pretty Lights” and hold on tight for the intense buildups and breakdowns that are sure to have you on the edge of your seat.

Mashups, Progressive House | DOSVEC – Hey Now Momentum

Hey Now Momentum

When Martin Solveig teamed up with The Cataracs to release “Hey Now” it was a Pop / Top 40 tune that would be difficult to receive club / festival support. DOSVEC just took care of that by mashing it up with “Momentum” (Michael Calfan Mix) – The tune now has a great Progressive House feel that is sure to satisfy any EDM fanatic –

Note: You must be 19+ to enter!

Fantazia returns after it’s remarkable debut last year selling out the arena showcase at UMASS Amherst.  Fantazia has been dubbed “Way ahead of its time!” by Jesse Waits, Owner of XS Las Vegas and is coming to some of the most prestigious venues at select dates across the U.S. starting with the World’s Largest Floating Dance Festival aka The Groove Cruise in LA!

The unique and visionary spectacle created by concert event gurus NV Concepts, alongside their creative headliner and performance DJ; DSK CHK has already made waves in the EDM scene and isn’t slowing down as it sweeps across the country to bring this one of a kind dance event to major cities nation-wide.

Retrofitted with a completely different production, cast and concept, Fantazia delves deep into a world only found in our dreams.  A perfect merging of fantastical characters takes on an immersive musical journey through EDM.  The show focuses around the now infamous baby grand DJ piano controlled by DSK CHK whose sets take on a life of their own.

Chill | Elliot Berger – Watching

Posted by on September 21, 2013

“Watching” is a chill, but fast paced track by Elliot Berger from the Discover Music Today “Relaunch” album featuring music from many artists to showcase EDM talent. Elliot Berger’s original song is mellow while still keeping a faster tempo. Think along the lines of Phaeleh or Blackmill perhaps. Chill music is not Elliot Berger’s usual style, so it’s interesting to see him branch out. “Watching” is free to download if you’re diggin’ it!

Both Mimada and I will be representing FNT, attending shows by DJ Shadow, Calvin Harris, Afrojack,  Tiesto, and many more! Over 50 venues spread out through out the Dutch city, will be hosting top notch producers and DJs, from happy hour to the early morning. Not only will we be attending shows, we will also be attending the ADE Playground and Conference, reporting and testing out all the new innovative technology that producers and DJs are using, along with listening to a list of panels on the current state of the EDM scene, and what can be done to move forward. Mimada and I will also be the first to know the top 100 DJ Mag list for 2013, as the list will be announced at the ADE!

FNT has always supported the EDM, Dance scene from the get, allowing many DJs and producers from all over the world to be introduced to the American market. Ambient, Chill | Sean Kongery – Paper

Posted by on September 16, 2013

I’m excited to present to you today a beautifully constructed instrumental piece from the ever-so-talented, Sean Kongery. Although, I had heard Kongery produce other artist’s music and even unleash a few EDM remixes here and there, I had yet to hear a full out instrumental track made for “vibing”, “chilling” and other cool “ing” words.

As completely and utterly over-used that Biggie vocal samples are, Mr. Kongery managed to “wow” me yet again and put an interesting spin on the King of rap’s words.

Perhaps just as stunning as the song itself is the video done by Lake Effect Films. These guys pulled out all of the stops and really made a product worth sharing. Enjoy the video above and catch the audio below if you’re about that life.
