Tony Junior’s latest tease Anigav sounds to me like a perfect celebratory conclusion of EDM’s rampant progression through 2011 and the years to come. Now here below we have a pure smattering of progressive gems delivered right to you, fresh and new. House | Volta Bureau – Alley Cat

Alley Cat was one my first exposures to Indie Dance/Nu Disco, a sub-genre of EDM which utilizes elements from Disco and House. Combining a sick piano riff with a great underlying melody, Volta Bureau did work on this track.

Electro-House | Coyote Kisses

I would like to introduce to you guys Coyote Kisses. They are two college kids Joe and Bryce from Lakeland, Florida and go to school in Florida and Virginia. Bryce is classically trained in piano and Joe plays guitar and bass, and this comes out in their work with the production skill and creativity that is brought to each song as it is not just another copycat electro-house or dubstep song. They decided to make EDM only very recently and have not looked back. They are coming out with an EP at some point in the future and will be releasing a few songs within the next few weeks. Here is a 2 song EP from Jordy von Egmond a.k.a Dyro the 19 year old DJ signed to the increasingly talented Revealed Records. I first introduced him to you with his single “Daftastic” on Talent Revealed Vol. 1 a little while back, and with these two tracks he is not going to be stopped from rising to the upper echelon of the EDM ranks. Today is just an amazing day for EDM, everyone brought their A game. We said Cazzette was going to explode. If our last post with them wasn’t enough for you, then this remix will most definitely prove it to you. They really are putting a foot down on their own style for electro-house with the heavy bass synths they have been adding to most of their tracks. This remix of theirs is amazing, it should be the original.

Hardwell recently released a compilation of 3 songs from upcoming producers on his label. I chose the best two to show you guys from Dyro and Kura. Dryo, a dutch producer and DJ gives us “Daftastic”, which stays true to its name and has a strong sound of Daft Punk, but also puts his own spin on it and adds a new original sound. Kuru, a Portuguese DJ, has had the most success of the the bunch, with his song rising into the top 50 of progressive house Beatport charts with its trance infused build and bass driven, chunky synth drop. A few months ago Ipaneema (formerly known as Dancernaut) floored us with his vocal mix to Levels, and since then he hasn’t missed a beat. He has been hard at work remixing various EDM tracks as well as working on his own production. His two most recent vocal edits, one of Mord Fustang’s A New World and the other of Porter Robinson’s Wildcat, are nothing short of epic. As an added bonus, Ipaneema also hit us with his latest mashup Rock your Weapon at the Cinema. there’s a lot to enjoy here folks, so get to listening…
