Electro-House | The S – Apology
Posted by GMONEY on March 19, 2012
The S, an Italian producer duo, has been throwing down quality Electro House tracks for some time. From the previously posted “Haunting Melodies” to their most recent release “Apology”, these guys just understand how to tie together chords, bass and synths to provide quality EDM music. “Apology”, featured on Winter Music Concert 2012, provides the perfect Electro House fix. Grab the track on Beatport here. Check out the rest of their tracks on Soundcloud here.
Drum & Bass, Dubstep | Camo & Krooked — Between The Lines EP

Where to even begin with this amazing remix EP. If you have heard any recent DnB sets by any artist, then you most likely have heard half of these tracks. This is definitely one of the most well rounded DnB EP’s; including everything from the heaviest DnB/Drumstep tracks to the most melodic form of DnB and everything in between. This Remix EP features all styles of DnB leaving nothing out and making sure everyones listening needs are fulfilled. Also included are two masterpiece originals by the duo which also have been highlights of most DnB sets. You can find the big names in this EP such as FuntCase and Fred V & Grafix as well as new comers, such as Dead Battery who won the remix competition. I wish I could go through and talk about how sensational, well-constructed and instrumentally genius each track is, but that would take me all day and all night. Get this amazing EP on Beatport HERE.
Hip-Hop | The Dean’s List ft. Dani Ummel- Hollywood
Posted by A on March 13, 2012
“If we ever get to Hollywood, let it all out. Show em’ why you got yeah you got it no doubt. It’s all about the power, power’s alright, even when it stops we can party all night.” -Sonny Shotz
Hollywood is a place where they’ll pay you a thousand dollars for a kiss and fifty cents for your soul. But you don’t have to tell the Dean’s List, as they’re back with a new single from their forthcoming “Generation X” project featuring Berklee college of music student Dani Ummel, outlining the pitfalls of the industry. Dani Ummel is no stranger to working with the super-duo, lending her vocals to “No Sleep” and “Light Up The Sky” on their previous “The Drive In” mixtape. Hollywood is calling. I predict The Dean’s List will answer with “Generation X” on April 3rd.
Progressive House | Of Monsters and Men – King and Lionheart (Dzeko & Torres Streesh Bootleg)

This bootleg came as a surprise, listening to the great indie vocals in the beginning, I did not know what to expect from the drop. The duo, Dzeko & Torres Streesh, really did a beautiful job on this. It is just one of the tracks you can either dance to or close your eyes and let it take you away.

Interviews | Aer Interview
Posted by dshaq on February 20, 2012
Before you say anything, yes that is my beautiful face in the presence of the awesomely chill duo of Aer. I was fortunate enough to meet up for an interview with Carter and David before their show at Reggie’s Rock Club in Chicago last Saturday. It’s pretty scary to think these guys, who are a year older than me, are already an EP and two mixtapes deep and are collecting a continuously growing fan base. FNT will represent our questions and C will stand for Carter and D for David.
FNT: How has Sam Adams’ success impacted you since you guys are from the same town?
D:He’s set an example of what you can do coming from a small town and blowing up on the internet and just running with it.
C: Ya he’s a good mentor for getting advice and a good person to talk to.
FNT: How was it like to hit #1 on iTunes? What were you’re reactions?
D: It didn’t really settle in like most of our other stuff. I can’t describe it haha.
C: It was crazy to see it rise from it being like 26 then going to #1 in the same day. Pretty
indescribable.
House, Progressive House | Sato Goldschlag feat. Wynter Gordon – Mr. Mister
Posted by Middy on February 15, 2012
Sato Goldschlag is a mysterious house duo who just dropped this crazy track with vocals from Wynter Gordon. Wynter kills it as you would expect it from her, and Sato takes over from there with an easy build with a steady bass line that crescendos into a break of driving and varying synths with pitched vocal samples to accentuate the synth work. This song overall is pretty crazy and is perfect for any occasion and will be stuck in your head rather quickly. Original mix below and the radio mix included after the jump.
