Ah snap, III points just announced their lineup for their upcoming festival in Wynwood, Florida October 10th to the 12th and it includes the likes of Flying Lotus, Lykke Li, Duke Dumont, Kaytranada, Cashmere Cat, Chet Faker, and more! To sum it all up, all the cool kids will be there! Included in the email was this super chill mix by Dinnerdate that I’ve been vibing to, which is only making me look forward to this upcoming 3 day weekend! Thank god it’s Thursday, and it’s looking like this Summer will be filled with must see festivals! At the sound of it, you’re not going to want to miss this one!

One day away from Christmas, and still 7 more days to go before the new year, so unless a banging track comes out within that time frame, these tracks stand. Obviously a lot of great music came out this year, and 10 records is too little to reflect the quality of sound that was released.
Beginning my contribution this year at FNT, I have found many tunes by known and unknown artists/producers that have captured my ears, and I’d like to dedicate this list to them. Although their name might not show up here, know that by being featured on a post alone, you’re on my ever expanding list. Music is infinity, and everyday hundreds to thousands of tracks are released that you will most likely never hear, but don’t limit yourself, keep an open mind, and be honest with your ears and your feelings! Folks, forget anything you were listening to these past days, Duke Dumont’s latest single featuring Jax Jones “I Got You” premiered on Annie Mac’s BBC radio show, will make you forget all of that. This is the track of 2013, and 2014 in my opinion. You might know the Grammy nominated Duke Dumont through his hit record “Need You (100%) ” that made its way around the dance world, and notably by the remix produced by NYC based producer Dave Edwards which made it to #1 on the Hypem chart, and this follow up single let’s us know that Mr. Dumont is here to stay, so get familiar! I shit you not, I’ve had this record on repeat ever since I’ve heard it, but hey it’s my birthday today, so I do what I wanna! This is a must listen!
