This track is a f*cking monster. With sounds this large I couldn’t even begin to fathom the level of chaos a track like this would foster in a live setting. This heavy handed Canadian duo are showing no signs of slowing down and releasing another free original is pushing them closer to the limelight. The two have taken a unique turn with their sound, incorporating bits of funk, futuristic bass, nu-disco, and dubstep to create a syncopated synapse. Here, have a taste for yourself.

Immediately after hearing this track, I knew it had to be written up. I’ve been in a bit of a writing drought, and this track sparked my inspiration back up. That’s got to be saying something! Illenium, from Denver, brings us this dubstep remix of “Shark” by Wonder Wonder today. I thoroughly enjoy the vocals from the original track, and the new twist from Illenium. It’s definitely melodic dubstep and clearly shows experience in production. I would go as far as to call this “chillstep” – but with a little bit clearer structure to the song. I haven’t posted any dubstep in a while so I figured I better write this track up. “So Wrong” by Illenium is melodic dubstep done right. Chill and bass filled, this original is a great addition to your chill playlist. The melody will stay in your head long after you click play. Today seems like a dubstep sort of Tuesday doesn’t it? Also, today marks Said the Sky’s FNT debut with his remix of “Fire Inside” by Gemini. I love the original track, so I was hoping this remix wouldn’t destroy it. Said The Sky absolutely blew me away with this melodic flip of Gemini’s emotional original. It’s clear that this level of composition took some serious thought and precision. Said The Sky, aka Trever Christensen, from Denver, describes his sound as “dubstep infused with soaring melodies and heart wrenching harmonies. A sound from the clouds.” Couldn’t agree more. Dabin dropped this sweet track earlier today called “Demons Feat. Gia Margaret” and it’s definitely worth a listen if you’re a melodic dubstep type of person. Although it seems like this genre is going out of style, I’ll always be a fan. Dabin features Gia’s vocals beautifully, and they carry the melody with grace. Synth stabs and mechanical noises are dabbled in the drops to give it that distinct dubstep vibe. This track is a classic, and it’s out for free! Grab it on Facebook.
