Thomas Gold’s much anticipated remix for OneRepublic’s single “Feel Again” has been released and this time much to our elation, it is free. Ryan Tedder’s vocals have made OneRepublic’s tracks a popular choice for producers amateur and non to remix, most recently Alesso’s stunning remix of “If I Lose Myself“. Thomas Gold adds another outstanding remix to his arsenal, taking full advantage of Ryan Tedder’s soaring vocals while adding a chunky bass line, punchy snares, and a euphoric melody in a track that refreshingly breaks the 2 build, 2 drop mold that is seen in just about every big room dance song nowadays.

Kastra has been releasing nothing but fire over the past few months. Not too many producers take on the challenge of remixing Justice, and there are few that have succeeded in doing so. Kastra not only succeeded but he made this one of the funkiest bangers I have heard. As W8 said to me as I wrote this, “the drop sounds like it’s talking to me.” Not sure what it was telling him, but it tells me it’s time to bust out on the dance floor.

Seventeen year old Marcus Santoro, along with fellow Australians Will K and Daniel Gregorio have just released their debut single on Neon Records. “Open Your Eyes”, like many of Santoro’s previous tracks, is a festival ready big room tune. The sing-along friendly vocals of Mitch Thompson are supplemented perfectly by uplifting melodies that lead up to a high energy, climactic drop. I had a bagel this morning and while saying bagels everywhere are not as good as this song might be a stretch, I will say listening to this song has given me more sexual pleasure than any bagel ever has. Grab the song on Beatport and be sure to go out and live your life to the fullest because one day, when you least expect it, this song will be there for you to slowly caress your face while you sleep.

Cool art, but wow… This is the energy we love to hear in a song, DallasK made this track bump. The build up is immense, but the drop sends you on fast spaceship through the stars with no stops. “Alienz” is set to release on April 30th on Beatport & iTunes.

Big, big track from Alvin Risk and Designer Drugs. Crisp, dark vocals (presumably from Alvin himself — we know he loves to sing), a killer hook and cool, plinky synths all make this a must-add to your spring rotation. I’m basically just loving this track’s vibe (and, of course, those trademark Alvin “pew pews” after the drop) and hope that we see more like it from this formidable production combo.

It is just a natural connection that when I think beautiful melodic tunes that Mr FijiWiji comes to mind. This is the most incredible remix of “Fire Inside” to date in my opinion. Mr FijiWiji’s intro is simple yet elegant, calmly carrying you like a river carries fish to the ocean. The drop happens to be one of the more breathtaking oceans I’ve ever heard of.

I love the little bit of Trance that Stars Above sneaks into his House tracks. It keeps the vibe energized and not sounding like every other House track artists throw together. The first drop is just a tease, but the last drop on this remix takes your imagination to the festival scene. Stars Above threw together a true grand finale, not something that is usually experienced in a single track. Below is another new remix from Stars Above that uses that same energy, but put to the max. Enjoy.
