Electro | Krewella – We Go Down + Album Preorder
Posted by J_Salzer on August 27, 2013
Free Krewella is always a welcome sight in my mind. Although this isn’t necessarily free, I’ve told myself it is in order to justify my purchasing of their upcoming album. But fear not, for the preordering of their album needs NO justification, because there’s nothing better than Krewella. Seriously. I’ve had the joy of blogging the three knuckleheads since 2011 and they have been a joy to watch. So preorder their album, Get Wet, and you will get We Go Down for free. As for the track itself, it’s filled with classic beautiful Krewella vocals, a snarey build, and a huge drop. Exactly what you all need for your mid week raging festivities. Enjoy, and use it in good health, and thanks to our buddies at This Song is Sick for the sick premier.
Dubstep, Electro, Trance | Seven Lions with Myon & Shane 54 Ft. Tove Lo – Strangers
Posted by J-Tiffy on August 25, 2013
Seven Lions fans, rejoice! My eyes light up whenever I see Seven Lions’ name, and if you’re like me, you’ll be itching to dig into this tune if you haven’t already. He tackles this project with vocalist Tove Lo and house/trance production duo Myon and Shane 54. The song is part of the original motion picture soundtrack for Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. It is an immensely ambitious track, even for a revolutionary artist like Seven Lions. Not only does it combine his signature cocktail of trance and dubstep, but we can hear a lot of house elements in the mix and, more interestingly, a heavy reliance on a gnarly minimal electro drop.
Pop | Matt Cardle, Melanie C – Loving You
Posted by VMan on August 21, 2013
I’m going to make a few girls happy with this one, and dudes for that matter. Melanie C and Matt Cardle have teamed up to drop this awesome pop record “Loving You” that I think is going to be a big hit this fall. I’m personally hooked. You might remember Melanie C as Sporty Spice from the Spice Girls, and she looks and sounds amazing. Matt Cardle, the winner of X Factor UK is a lucky man sharing spit with the gorgeous Mel C. You also have to hear the man sing, he has a hell of a voice! I look forward to seeing this track migrating towards the US! This is a must a listen!
Trap | Late Nite Krew – Monkey Biz

Damn, this is some traptastic ish right here from the Late Nite Krew. I clicked play expecting the usual twerkulator Trap crap, but this tune has some serious bounce in it, like booty drop to floor causing an earthquake bounce. It might be Sunday, but the weekend doesn’t have to be over.

Progressive House | Moiez ft Dellara – Over You (Stars Above Remix)
Posted by Juicebox on August 15, 2013
Elevating our ears to another height of musical emotion, Joshua Bull or Stars Above, completely captures, the essence of the original creation from Moiez, all whilst still giving it his own flair and unique edit. Moiez’s Over You, with Dellara on vocals, a forthright hit on its own is drawn into the trance arena, with progressive synth stabs and chord progressions building to one monumental statement of a drop. This track is what makes music so great, you don’t just hear this one, you feel it. Please do this track a favor and don’t play it over your computer speakers.
Chill, Trap | Daft Punk – Doin It Right (jellosea x audioMimic remix)
Posted by VMan on August 8, 2013
Jellosea’s remix of Anna Kendrick’s “Cups” has been making its round in the blogosphere, and I recommend you all go on his SoundCloud page to check it out. I personally took the time to scout it for you, and came up with this remix of Daft Punk’s “Doin It Right,” which I think is amazing. I’m literally sitting here listening to it at the office on repeat and anticipating for the guitar to drop every time. This remix makes the original sound better. I wish there was a free download to this tune, but for now we’ll have to settle with clicking the play button over and over again. This is a must listen!
Bass, Dubstep | Unlimited Gravity – Source’s Orchestra
Posted by BP on August 7, 2013
After hearing this new Unlimited Gravity single this afternoon I couldn’t help but share it with you. It was hard to categorize this song, so we’ll just call it bass music. The strings are absolutely mesmerizing and flow perfectly over the wobbling bass lines. Each drop takes a unique turn. This is one of those songs I could see being perfect for a long drive, especially because of it’s length. Source’s Orchestra is a single off of Unlimited Gravity’s album called “Unlimited” that will be released on August 27th to 1320 Records, and I can’t wait to hear it!
