Hip-Hop | Lil Wayne ft. Jadakiss & Drake – It’s Good (Jay-Z Diss)
Posted by GMONEY on August 24, 2011
The above video gives insight into what supposedly instigated this whole diss track. I think anybody who has the slightest bit of business acumen will chuckle when they watch this video of Birdman claiming that he’ll be a billionaire one day. If Jay-Z hasn’t done it yet, Birdman most definitely won’t. Period. Even so, this is besides the point. This diss track is yet another leak off Wayne’s The Carter IV, which will be out for digital download right after the MTV VMA’s this Sunday. If there is one thing that confuses me about this track it’s the Drake feature. Diehard Drake fans will surely remember Drizzy’s line in Fear, which was on So Far Gone.
“I never cried when Pac died, but I probably will when Hov does, and if my tears hold value, then I will drop one for everything he showed us.”
Drake isn’t the type to appear on a diss track, especially one directed towards Jay-Z, who at one point publicly admitted that he wished he had signed Drake. Additionally Hova praised Drake in his song Star Is Born. If there’s one surefire bet about this track its that if there isn’t already a Roc Nation – Young Money rivalry, then there is now… What do you think about this? Sound off in the comments section…

Hip-Hop | Lenny Kravitz ft Drake – Sunflower

Not a fan of this one…expected a better managerial decision than Drake agreeing to do a feature on this track. This sounds like something that should have been on Now 3, am I right? I posted some real hip hop below to save this post…

Hip-Hop | Lil Wayne – She Will (ft. Rick Ross & Drake)

Here’s the original version to Lil Wayne’s “She Will”. I’m not entirely sure why Drake and Wayne dropped a version that left out their I’m On One co-pilot, especially since Ross sounds so BAWSE on this, but at least they were smart enough to exclude DJ Khaled altogether… Note: This has a couple tags, however, they’re not that intrusive, this still made the BIGLIFE permanent iTunes library.

Hip-Hop | The Game, Drake, Lil Wayne, & Tyler The Creator

Alright first things first, sorry for my lack of posting lately, no Gmoney didn’t fire me, I’ve been interning so I have next to no time to do anything (Tip: Never get a job). Secondly, what is with The Game jacking everyone’s flow? It was cool the first few times but now its getting weird. Nonetheless check these two tracks which are off The Game’s upcoming R.E.D. Album, the first has a pretty eerie gothic theme to it, and the second is a track featuring Drizzy which both artists absolutely kill. Both of these, in my opinion, are MUST DOWNLOADS

Electro, House, Mainstream Remix | Drake, Bruno Mars, & Jason Derulo Electro Remixes
Posted by Juicebox on July 24, 2011
You know two things when you see a girl passed out at 10 pm in a Fresh New Tracks jacket…One, she has one hell of an iTunes library, and two, she definitely knows how to party. Mainstream remixes are always some of my favorite tracks, but recently there’s been a slight drought of those party bangers they turn out to be. Despite this current little drought, heres a few solid ones that give the originals that nice electro twist.

The drop at 1:30 is super housey and probably not for everyone…the slowed down verse’s are dope though…

Hip-Hop | J. Cole Update, Drake, & Los | Hip-Hop

Judging by the video above, it seems like we’re gonna be hearing a lot from Cole in the near future. Not only is he releasing an album September 29th, but he plans on releasing a mixtape before that too. Don’t hang your hat on that though, after all his album was supposed to be out this past spring. Speaking of Roc Nation, Kanye and Jay-Z released the album art as well as a definite tracklist for their up coming collaboration album, Watch the Throne, check it out here. Below is a quick preview for Wale’s premier single off his upcoming album, featuring J. Cole.
Los is a lyricist that we’ve severely over look. If you have yet to check him out, make sure you do so.

This song is strictly for die- hard Drizzy fans. 8 years ago when every rapper made references to Tony Montana and Scarface, this song may have been popular. I’m not sure why Drake would hop on a song like this, but for those of you interested his verse starts at 1:45.

The self proclaimed King of the South said he’d be releasing some new material soon however it’s not clear if this is it. Regardless this track is dope, but I thought he was still in jail for that drug charge?

Here is some unreleased Pac’ which is super dirty. Pac disses everyone from Dre, to Biggie & Puff, to Nas… just about anyone who rapped in New York in the late 90’s.
F*ck Doc Dre, he ain’t made a beat in 6 years…

I’ve been scouring the internet for a mashup like this. Hopefully we’ll get a Drake track featuring The Weeknd in the near future.
