Mashups | DOSVEC – Just A Poppa
Posted by Mach on March 9, 2012
15 years ago today, the legendary Biggy Smalls was shot down in LA. Although long gone, his spirit has lived on and inspired many in the music industry. These days hes just the friend most of us wish we had. This is one of my favorite mashups from DOSVEC, it is nothing too crazy yet still sends the right message and vibes about Big Poppa. 15 years is a long time, and it was only a year ago that the FBI released their file on the cold case that is Biggy’s murder. Whether your east or west side, a fan of Tupac or B.I.G., the sun still rises and sets just the same.

Mashups | DOSVEC – Somebody I Used To Know in Paris

Since the start of the Gotye remix competition, I thought I was tired of hearing more, but I gave DOSVEC the benefit of the doubt. DOSVEC always surprises me, even though I should be use to it by now. His mind works in such a mysterious way that his mashups are always the perfect fit of instrumentals and vocals. I have sported my hate of Guetta on FNT many times, but I wont lie, I really enjoy ‘Paris’ with these vocals. As always, DOSVEC made sure to accompany this dope new mash with some sweet visuals.

DJ-Set, Electro, Mashups, Mixtapes | DOSVEC – Quattro
Posted by Mach on February 29, 2012
In honor of his father who died 6 months ago today, DOSVEC delivers us his newest masterpiece of a mixtape. Going strictly with electro/dance styled mashups at 128 bpm, DOSVEC out did himself on this mixtape. The set itself is great for any occasion, whether it’s a party or a dance floor. I love the wide array of vocals packed into these mashes, showcasing many different decades of catchy tracks. After giving this mixtape a full listen, I wish it wouldn’t be an embarrassment for me to bust out in this library. Mashups, Videos | DOSVEC – Fresh Leone
Posted by Mach on February 21, 2012
DOSVEC has been on a mission to bust out as many videos as he can to match all his fans favorites of his. Sierra Leone is one of the most legendary dubstep tracks to ever hit man kinds ears, and the hook from Fresh I Stay really kicks. Usually DOSVEC’s goal for a mashup is to provide vocals everyone knows and loves, then put them over a bomb beat that most may not know. This gem is a great combination and now we have great visuals to match.

I really was not sure what to expect from DOSVEC when he told me he had a mashup for Valentines Day. The second I hit play I was genuinely blown away. Fireflies vocals sound perfectly suited and flawless over Not Afraid’s instrumental. DOSVEC really knows how to set the mood with a mashup. Happy Valentines Day.

Mashups, Videos | DOSVEC – Please Don’t Go

This is probably DOSVEC’s most popular mashup that he has created. Fans having been begging for some righteous visuals to match this smooth mash, with 100,000 views on just the audio of the track, it was about time a sick video like this came to light. I don’t think I need to go into detail about how great Mike Posner’s vocals work over Kaskade and Deadmau5′ ever famous beat. DOSVEC always seems to get the videos perfect with his mashups, which I believe was key to continuing this mashups fame.

Mashups | DOSVEC – Rain Away
Posted by Mach on January 31, 2012
DOSVEC mixed it up a little this week. He went back to a dubstep mashup, but with a different, wobblier vibe. Being an old Red Hot Chili Peppers fan, I love the intro of this track, Adele’s voice sounds incredible over that guitar. Once the wobbles dropped I was slightly taken away, for the fact that I would have never thought to put wobbles with Adele’s voice, nor would I have though it would work as well as it does. DOSVEC undoubtedly with another top notch mashup BANGER!
