Up and coming sensation IanJ has been taking the blogosphere by storm lately. Due to the great success of his recent releases, Ian up to Chicago this weekend and recorded a mini mixtape at Force One Studio, birthplace of NaPalm’s “Dirty Girls Like Dirty Beats.” The four-track mixtape is provided below for your listening pleasure. We expect big things from IanJ in the coming months and we are hearing rumors of a number of dope collabs, so keep your ears to the speakers and “likeianj” on facebook.

Brilliant marketing right here. Take the a cut off of the hottest mixtape around (which incidentally crashed Ustream, Datpiff, and another dedicated website) and throw some Notorious B.I.G bars into the mix. Unsurprisingly, these two sound like they were meant to be on the same track – this song is dope.

Although I rarely seek them out, every once in a while I’ll come across a dope band. This aptly titled band is everything you’d expect from a group called “Reef’d”. Take a little Rebelution, throw in SOJA along with some amateur flare and you’re all set. Here’s what the guys had to say about themselves
