The other day I asked our FB fans (if you haven’t already done so like us – HERE) to drop their favorite unknown rapper in the comment box and CALiPH is the one that caught my ear. Although I didn’t post a criteria, I was looking for someone with raw talent that might help me restore my faith in the budding hip hop artists. The cuts below were my favorite tracks off his Soundcloud account. “Fly Away” is totally dope, damn, so is Gettin’ Out.

After too long of a wait, Fortune Fam is finally back and this time they brought some serious heat. On this track Hops uses a sample of Rod Stewart’s Young Turks which is absolutely DOPE. As usual, Reef drops some knowledge on you fools on the first verse and Hops goes in with his signature hard flow on the second and third verses. Support the Fam’ on facebook.

If you haven’t familarized yourself with mashup legend DOSVEC this post should get your caught up to date. I’ve compiled my favorite tracks off of his Soundcloud in preparation for the weekly feature he’ll be doing for us called, Sucka Free Sunday’s. As the title implies, every Sunday DOSVEC will pull out a few exclusive tracks from his arsenal to drop on the FNT nation. If they’re up to par with his previous works, including last week’s Gucci Gucci remix (track from the visuals above), we should all be in for something special. Venezuelan producer Le Jac delivers a super dope electro hit. Vocals from Andrea Weir coupled with some huge synth lines in the chorus really help this track take off.

In celebration for getting 700,000 followers on Twitter, the homie Mac Miller dropped this DOPE track produced by Big Jerm with a sweet summer theme to it. I’m loving the Arnold Palmer reference in that first verse.
