Girl Fire | Skrillex, Diplo, and Justin Bieber Want To Know “Where Are U Now”
Posted by BIGLIFE on February 28, 2015
Dubbed “the record of the year” by DJ Snake, Skrillex and Diplo (who live-streamed a 24 hour set earlier last week) surprise-release their “Jack U” album to the world. There’s a lot of great records on the album, however, this “Where Are U Now” record featuring Justin Bieber is the stand out. Not because it’s Justin Bieber. Just because it has the most crossover top 40 potential. Tune!
Future House | Jack U Recruit Tchami To “Take U There”
Posted by BIGLIFE on December 18, 2014
Diplo and Skrillex recruit enigmatic priest-garb wearing future house purveyor Tchami to put his incredible touch on “Take U There” featuring IDJ’s Kiesza. This remix is so good, it makes me want to pound a million shots of that anti-freeze laced Fireball and throw myself out a high-rise building. Just when I thought he would utilize those Tchami snyths we get an entirely new sound. Just incredible. I can’t wait to go deep with this tune all weekend. Tchami’s “Take U There” drops December 23 via OWSLA / Mad Decent, which can’t come quickly enough. Tchami. I need more Tchami! Tooooo good. [H/T HT]

Scope this. Dubbed ‘Philly Club Music’, Swizzymack supplies a bass-fuelled twerk anthem that’ll put your booty on autodrive. Discovered by Mad Decent’s playboy superstar, Diplo, this 19 year old has gotten the respect of his local radio stations and mainstage DJ’s worldwide. Swizzy goes in hard, chopping bass in rapid-fire, and with the help of this release on Ultra Music he’s brought to the forefront of the scene, showcasing the art of trap.
Trap | Jack U Ft. Kiesza – Take U There (CRVFTSMEN x StarTrakk ReWhine)
Posted by BIGLIFE on October 14, 2014
Building on the success of their “Heads High” and “IDFWU” remixes supported by Skrillex and Diplo, the Boston collective is back with a new offering in the form of Jack U’s “Take U There” tune. In addition to all the tunes they’ve been dropping, they’ve been doing shows left and right. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. CRVFTSMEN are making moves in the blogosphere in a major way. Keep an eye on these guys. They could be the next big thing. All around great tune.
Trap | Big Sean – IDFWU (CRVFTSMEN REMIX)

Premiered with our friends over at Music Ninja, CRVFTSMEN build on the success of their Diplo and Skrillex supported “Heads High” remix with a new Big Sean “IDFWU” remix. Anthemic and rambunctious, I see this CRVFTSMEN remix hitting the clubs hard. Make sure you “heart” their track below. Tune!
Events | Austin City Limits – Artists to See vol. 1
Posted by mimada on September 25, 2014
Next Friday marks the beginning of one of the best, still most underrated music festivals in the business: Austin City Limits. Held outdoors in the state capital’s glorious Zilker Park, ACL marks the end of festival season, offering a lineup that pulls artists both big and small from every corner of the planet. On that note, ACL also does a great job at showcasing the underdogs who traditionally end up scoring top slots in big-name festivals the following year. Now a contender in the two-week festival category, you can expect to hear more great music than you’ll know what to do with over the course of the festival, not to mention you’ll be overwhelmed with tough decisions of overlapping artists. Well, lucky for you we picked out a few of the artists you reaaally shouldn’t miss if you end up making the pilgrimage down south. And for those stuck at home watching the live stream, you can use this to your advantage, too. See which artists made the first cut after the break.
