If you get these songs you may be able to rage as hard as the Bruins did after they won the Stanley Cup with a $150,000 bar tab?! Here is the Thomas Gold remix of Adele’s Set Fire to the Rain. Nice to hear a different Adele song being remixed for once. The drop takes a little while so be patient.

Here is an Afrojack song that came out a week or two ago, but I didn’t really like it that much at the time. The more I listen, the more I like the song and it shows Afrojack’s versatility with the different styles in the song.

OK so call me a fool, but here is a summer anthem. I don’t take the word “anthem” lightly, but this song has every ingredient for it. A great, catchy beat, infectious vocals and a joyful, uplifting vibe. The remix adds a little to the the beat and has less of the vocals, still a banger though.

I was debating just throwing Moombathon tracks with electro post, but it’s gotten so popular it deserves its own. Dillon Francis usually does dubbier sounding tracks. This new one of his is lighter, but no complaints from me.

Props to Middy for the youtube post of this track. Diplo dropped a mix on soundcloud a few days ago with a preview of this track squeezed in silently. I dont know who Kristian is, but thanks for editing this preview to be a little longer. I have to give both Skrillex and Diplo insane credit on their music careers. Neither of them settle on just one style of music and their great skills continue through everything they do.

Since I am sure most of you are off raging somewhere for Memorial Day weekend, and only the die hards are making it onto the site, I figure this was the perfect time to sneak in a post to expand your musical horizons. As electronic music continues to grow and expand, new sub-genres are being invented almost daily. One of the more interesting ones that has found its way to my ears is Moombahton. According to the all mighty knowledge source wikipedia:
Moombahton was created by American dj/producer Dave Nada at a high school homecoming “skipping party” for his younger cousin in Washington, D.C., in the fall of 2009.The specific event that stimulated NADA’s development of the Moombahton genre was his slowing the Afrojack remix of the Silvio Ecomo & DJ Chuckie song “Moombah” to 108 beats per minute. Because that tempo nears that of the reggaeton, Nada created the neologism “Moombahton” by combining the title of the track “Moombah” and the “ton” ending of the word “reggaeton” and applied it to his new genre.

I am really feeling the drop on this track. I do wish it had some hot vocals at the slower parts of the song though, I feel it would add to the greatness of this track. With that said this beat is still so good.

This song is hot, the vocals are sweet. I honestly did not expect the baseline in the drop to be so heavy it almost shatters your ears. Once I hit that drop my eyes widened, “Oh Damn!”
Cudi dubstep remix are always fire for some reason. His chilled out voice sounds great on the right dubstep baselines. Shakira’s Chorus works out smoothly on this track, just all around this remix worked out perfectly.

No doubt I saved the best for last. This live recording is the only version available at the moment, but for live this sounds pretty amazing. Almost too good to be true. Benny Bennassi is a God. Not only does he produce some of the best electronic tracks, but this is an amazing dubstep track. You have to listen to it for yourself.

Atlanta based Dylan Elland, of Le Castle Vania, continuously drops impressive tracks. As he blends intense, grinding disco punk with electronic beats and synth leads, his remixes brilliantly transform original tracks.
Two days ago, Dylan dropped the audio freebie which has been posted below. Dylan chose to remix the two-year-old D.I.M club banger, “Is You,” after re-listening to the track. Dylan not only chose to drop the track because he so strongly believes in releasing creative, free music–but also in preparation for his SXSW performances. Even if you can’t make it to SXSW, Dylan still wants you to rage, wherever you may be, by listening to this banger.

Dillon Francis, of the Mad Decent family, recently released his head-splitting EP “Westside.” As one of the godfathers of Moombahton, Francis absolutely kills it. With an artist like Diplo, you can’t go wrong…
