Dubstep, Electro, Techno | Pendulum – The Island
Posted by Juicebox on September 27, 2010
If you know techno, you know The Island part 1 & 2, and you definitely know Pendulum. (The first two songs aren’t new) These guys produce some of the best techno music with those build ups and drops we love so much as well as great melodies backed by perfect bass lines. These songs are all bangers.
Pendulum – The Island Pt I (Dawn) — (5 stars)
Pendulum – The Island Pt II (Dusk) — (4.5 stars)
Pendulum – Set Me On Fire — (4.5 stars)

Sorry for the lack of posting lately, the upgrade to iTunes 10 wreaked havoc on my computer and the FNT music library. Anyways, Mr. Rogers debut mixtape “Welcome to the Neighborhood” features some really unique, and tasteful mashups and is definitely worth a look. To stay updated on Mr. Rogers Productions, check him out here.
Here is a preview of Mr. Rogers style…

“Lights” Music Video (shot on 7D) from Eric Nichols on Vimeo.
Video produced by Kenim Obaigbena and Eric Nichols. Here are two cuts off their mixtape “All Out Everything” which caught my ear. They have a very interesting sound and they’re definitely worth checking out. Be sure to sound off in the comment section below.
All Out ft. XV- Lights
All Out ft. Shawn Chrystopher- Drive By
Hip-Hop, Videos | Tum Tum ft. Hot Rod, Lil Wil, & Doughski G- Award Winning

Another smooth cut off the highly anticipated “Purp Kobain” which is dropping August 28th. In my opinion, Tum has been creating some serious buzz around this project and I think the final product will definitely be worth listening to front to back. If you’re aren’t following Tum on Twitter already, be sure to do so here. The track is produced by Pimp-N-Keys. As a bonus, I added another Tum feature.

Fresh new tracks, a place where we party just as hard as we blog
These tracks aren’t the heavy filth I usually post but definitely still worth downloading. I put these tracks on when I want to kick back and relax…turn down the lights and turn up the speakers.

We are dropping panties one song at a time, especially with the 5 star tracks. If you’re a 6 and put one of these on deck, you’re instantly an 11.
I’ll admit, the original version didn’t really pique my musical interest. However, this remix with its unreal synths and baseline turned this belly flop right side up.
Usher – DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love (DJ Kue Remix BIGLIFE EDIT) (5 Stars)
I’m a sucker for girl fire tracks loaded with dope vocals. Let this track be your dirty secret too.
Kerima – This Night (Klubjumpers Radio Mix)(4.5 Stars)
Kascade turns the original into a beat thumping almost hypnotic club banger.
Lady Gaga Feat. Beyonce – Telephone (Kaskade Radio Edit) (4 Stars)
Empire Of The Sun – Walking On A Dream (Kaskade Club Remix) (3.5 Stars)
M2 also known as Swaraj will appeal to our house and bass-heads. These tracks remind me of those blurry nights filled with hard bass hits and bright lights. FNT, do we want more from M2 or what? (Light up the comment section – oh and ladies he’s pictured above…)
M2 – What is Cool (4 Stars)
Cahill has definitely mastered the art of technofying hip hop tracks.
Chris Brown – Forever (Cahill Club Mix) (4 Stars)
