Damn, should have remembered Koven as one of the artists to look out for this year. He has a decent amount of known releases for this spring, including a collaboration with Modestep. This original from Koven is massive. The vocals are an ever so sweet touch, but Koven murdered our ears by riddling them with bass. I will be honest, the music video isn’t much to see, but I guarantee that this track blows minds. “More Than You” is part of an upcoming EP of Koven’s also titled “More Than You.” The EP features a remix of the title track by DC Breaks plus another orignal from Koven called “No Blocks.” The EP is set to release March of this year, no specific date as be stated yet.

Introducing Leaf, an extremely talented artist who is one to watch in 2013. The 17-year-old New York native just dropped her debut mixtape entitled Naked & Wasted in which she raps and sings over a selection of Electronic, Trap and Pop productions. She even goes in over Carnage’s incredible remix of “Spaceman”. Some of my favorite tracks off the tape include “Running”, “Spaceman”, “Lie To Me” , “Can’t Say No” and “Wreckless”. “Naked & Wasted stands for Naked Emotions & Wasted Youth. The title is a mock at society and the culture of my generation at the moment. Everyone follows the same trends, music is only taken at face value (& made to sell) and if you don’t break it down for the listener they’ll never take advantage and look deeper then they should. FNT favorite and frequenter Jetpack Jones drops off his longest video to date. Being the fact that it’s quite literally a mini-movie, it spans 7 and a half minutes, but they’re an enjoyable 7 and a half minutes. Jetpack and a few of the homies that will be featuring on Afterburners 3 all star in the movie. The music is on point, my favorite track being the old school sample one that happens after the first encounter with LB, who’s clowning on a statue in King park. Jetpack Jones is the only rapper I know who has been consistently releasing good music for the past two years, and if this is any indication of what his next project will be like, then I can’t wait. After taking a few weeks hiatus, Sev and I can finally bring back R Rated. Kicking off our return is this insane remix from KhemehK. It’s unbelievable how much different kinds of bass were used coherently. Definitely one of nastiest tracks I have heard in weeks. No word on its release yet, but this full preview is worth getting into.
Hugs&Drugs dropped this tight preview tonight. It is some seriously grimy Dubstep. No release date yet, considering this is still a work in progress.
I have been listening to this preview for days now. Cyrex has done an awesome job on this remix so far. Not may people remix Kill The Noise’s older tracks, so it is pretty cool to see someone like Cyrex to take one on. Track is currently a work in progress.
Dino Safari did something I would have never expected from them, they just never crossed my mind as a group to produce something as deep as this. No release date yet, but I’m adding to my must have list.
I was actually disappointed in the lack of dirty tracks for this post, feels like everything I checked out was a preview and nothing to download. Eliminate was the only exception really and the Fytch & KushBerry remix is just way too good to pass on, seriously, you have to check it out.

Jez Dior turned heads when he released his debut single “Candles” a few months. The song quickly spread like wildfire across the blogosphere and reached #1 on The Hype Machine but the question remained, could he followup with another song of a similarly high caliber? That question is answered with the release of “Love Me To Death”. Less pop and more alternative, Jez Dior sheds more light on who he is and his history. The song is as strong if not stronger than “Candles” and affirms that Jez is here to stay and not just a one hit wonder. Dubstep | Ellie Goulding – Figure 8 (Xilent Remix)

It seems as though Xilent is back and in full force. This remix is probably one of his best, if not his best remix to date. This remix is everything you want in a track. It’s heavy on the bass, amazing female vocals, great melodies, just to cover a few points. Xilent nailed every aspect of the track and if you don’t believe me either listen to this on your speakers or at a show. Starting off with a slow intro alongside some pads, it sets a nice deep mood, but the drop is just crazy in so many aspects. Not to mention those great kick and snare’s that set the stage for the track. This remix goes in the must have Ellie Goulding remixes category for me.
Electro-House, Preview | Usher – Numb (Throttle Remix)

Usher is widely hated, but also widely loved. I hate Usher, but I will not deny my respect for his music, the guy is good. Usher also has many awesome remixes done of his music. This new remix comes from Throttle, this also happens to be his official remix for “Numb.” Though there is no release date on the remix yet, it is definitely well worth listening to anyways. Throttle came through, keep the master’s voice strong while also providing a handsome melody to follow.
