Richard Powda managed to skillfully take City And Colour’s indie hit “Fragile Birds,” and make it into groovy baby making music. Featuring the “Richard Powda Brass Band,” this remix gives the original a serious facelift.

Not sure if I believe the “freestyle” claims at the the beginning of the track, but Dubby has put together a solid track nonetheless. Look out for his upcoming project “tha Leak” which will be a 10 song EP.

Well I popped my TurnTable.FM virginity tonight and I’ve got to admit, it felt better than I thought it would. The official room for FNT is “FreshNewTracks.com (Official Room)” (linked). I expect to see all you avid followers throwing down filthy beats while spinning in there. Since the room was dominated by Dubstep tonight, I’ve put together a post with some of the highlights. Troublemaker did quite the job on this 30 minute DJ set which includes a multitude of tracks to get you going. The grand finale is Troublemaker’s remix Rolling Stone by The Weeknd is just plain ole fire city…I thought it was so sick that I added it in as a separate track for download.

This song sounds like paradise, it’s the perfect summer electro jam and should make up for the downtime we had recently. It reminds me of those classic feel-good Bob Sinclair tunes.
