This latest track from P-Holla, Ode to Dreamers, is a dedicated to anyone who takes risks to pursue their dreams. The song was actually inspired by Ryan Notes’ real life story of quitting his job, selling his car and moving to New York to pursue his musical career. P-Holla has been friends with Notes for a couple of years now and plans to work with him more in the future. Based on their first collaboration, I am definitely pumped to hear more from these two.

Yes, yes you read that right…Nick Cannon & Kanye West on the same track. This is an unreleased track and judging by Kanye’s flow/fact it’s a collaboration with Nick Cannon, I’m going to take a guess and say Kanye recorded this one six years ago (before Nick Cannon was only known as Mariah Carey’s wife). As much as I hate to say this, people wouldn’t hate on this if they didn’t know it was Nick Cannon. His flow really isn’t bad nor are the lyrics…

Dubstep | Zeds Dead & The Killabits – Bassmentality

Zeds Dead and The Killabits dropped their anticipated new collaboration last week on iTunes and Beatport and it’s definitely a must listen. It’s not too heavy, but has a great drop and a cool, memorable riff at the beginning that is easy on the ears. If you’re just getting into dubstep you should definitely check this one out because it won’t melt your face off, and if you’re a hardened pro you should probably still throw this into your rotation because I’ve got a feeling we’re going to start hearing it around. Here is the latest project from the Taylor Gang duo, Chevy Woods and Wiz Khalifa. I’m not sure as to why they wouldn’t push this as a collaboration mixtape, instead of just a Chevy Woods project with a bunch of Wiz Khalifa features. They are probably trying real hard to push Chevy Woods for some more popularity. I get why it is called “The Cookout,” because if you are baked, it is perfect for you. Smokey Robotic just released the official remix for “Heroin” featuring one of my favorite rappers, Skyzoo. For those who are familiar with both Smokey Robotic and Skyzoo, this collaboration shouldn’t come as a surprise. Skyzoo just last year released a full album with !llmind, one of the producers of Smokey Robotic. The original “Heroin” can be found on Smokey’s latest album The Shark & The Helicopter, which you can download for free here.

Hip-Hop | Kanye West & Jay-Z – Otis

Coming off of the upcoming collaboration album, “Watch The Throne.” The two heavy hitters, Mr. West and Jay-Z bring down the house on this one. The track features a sample from an American soul singer by the name of Otis Redding, hence the name of the song. Sound off in the comments, what are your thoughts on the duo?
