The third iteration of Mysteryland USA is right around the corner, and as we count down the days until June 10th, there’s a lot to plan, and even more to listen to. The ID&T-produced festival has already unveiled two phases of its stand-out lineup, and this year promises to be the biggest and best edition of the festival in America to date. Over the course of two days, nearly 100 artists will call Bethel Woods home, from headliners like ODESZA, Skrillex, and Bassnectar, to stellar undercard offerings like Gesaffelstein, Claude VonStroke, REZZ, amongst others, spread across six stages of bumping music. With so many can’t-miss artists to see, and even more activities to do at the festival, it’s tough to decide which artists take priority, and which ones will fall by the wayside, and schedule conflicts only serve as yet another source of anxiety before the festival.

In a new editorial series leading up to this year’s Mysteryland USA, we’re spotlighting an artist on the lineup that we consider can’t-miss for the weekend. Whether its because of a phenomenal live show, a brand new album, or stellar DJing skills, we hope that this spotlight series will help you wade through some of teh schedule conflicts easier. You can get your tickets to Mysteryland here.

This week’s Mysteryland USA spotlight is the masked man, Claptone.

On December 19, some of dance music’s biggest names will travel to the tropical beaches of the Dominican Republic for the single-day festival, Electric Paradise. To get attendees amped for the event, the festival has curated a mini-mix series from its performing artists. Last week, the introductory contribution came from Anjunadeep rising star, Moon Boots, and now the second mix is here, from Los Angeles-based producer, Zen Freeman. Clocking in at just under 80 minutes, Freeman’s mix navigates through a number of tech-house songs with just the right amount of summer vibes tossed in the mix. He pulls tracks from producers Oliver Heldens, Hot Since 82, Claptone, Throttle, and also includes five of his own unreleased tracks. Head to paradise before the holidays and purchase tickets to Electric Paradise.

Bootleg, House | Claptone – No Eyes (feat. Jaw) [Gamper & Dadoni Remix]

This song has a great use of saxophone, and who doesn’t love the saxophone? With a little housey-house and some good lyrics, Claptone and Gamper & Dadoni make for a deep, mellow, enjoyable song.
