Australian talent Young Franco put his talents to work on Charli XCX and Troye Sivan’s hit “1999” and we couldn’t be happier. He turned the smash pop hit into a groovy house jam that I’ve got on repeat. You should keep your eyes on this budding talent as 2019 is sure to be a big year for him.

Australian producer Elk Road hit me with his latest remix of Charli XCX’s “Boom Clap,” and being a sucker for the original, see me singing the hook as loud as possible when it drops, I had to give it a listen. Off the bat, I was carried by the rolling bass and guitar, and once you’re in it, it sounds like a trippy adventurous mysterious epic dream, to which you’re the hero. Get lost to these vibes, and see how many times you find yourself playing this tune on repeat. This is a must listen and a must download!

While certain big-name female celebrities continue to slowly chip away at the world’s image of a role model woman (not pointing any fingers this time), 2013 has fortunately reeled some incredibly talented female acts into the spotlight who go above and beyond to compensate for the wreckage. See: Banks, Jessie Ware, Charli XCX, Lorde, Aluna Francis, just to name a few. And adding to the list I present to you my latest female vocalist of interest, Danish electro-pop songstress MØ (pronounced “moo”). Take one part Scandinavian sweetheart, one part sultry temptress, top it off with a fat gold chain and a ponytail and you’ll get this bonafide badass singer. Check out the video premier of her latest track titled “XXX 88,” produced by the one and only Diplo and you’ll get a feel for what I mean. And if you still want mo’ MØ, keep an eye out for her EP and album release later this season.

Electro | Icona Pop – I Love It feat. Charli XCX (Cobra Starship Remix)

Cobra Starship, known to many for their pop radio hits, venture into big room production with their massive remix on Icona Pop’s “I Love It”. The remix is actually their first major label, production only, remix from the group and gives us a fresh new perspective to look at the group. I can’t exactly place my finger on what genre the remix but one thing is for sure, this remix is designed to crush the dance floor. Reminds me a bit of Crookers’ famous remix of Kid Cudi’s “Day ‘N’ Night” a bit.
