Diverging from the usual bangin’ production we’ve heard the past several weeks on Timeflies Tuesday, Cal and Res slow it down and share an acoustic version of “Until The Sunrise”, which was originally featured on The Scotch Tape. This may act as a reminding fans that strings and a pure voice can still make musical magic, as it did in early installments of Timeflies Tuesday. 56k FB fans and counting, jump on the wagon now kids.
P.S. I saw the X Factor will be holding auditions for their second season in the coming spring months. Anyone else think we should encourage Timeflies to apply for an audition? Tweet this link at them @Timeflies !

I recently caught up with Timeflies on 2/11 at their soldout show, which was held at the Skyway Theatre in Mineapolis, MN. We discussed Timeflies tuesdays, The Scotch Tape success, their music style and more. We have the latest Timeflies remix with a video to compliment it. It’s a remixed version of Outasights’ “Tonight Is The Night”. Rez puts his spin on the beat while Cal adds in additional vocals. Paying homage to one of the all time greats, Res samples Whitney Houston’s all time classic, “I Will Always Love You” with incredible production as always. With minimum equipment and supplies as they recently kicked off their Scotched Up Tour, Cal kicks a free with the help of the Valentine favorite, Sweetheart candies. Timeflies is gold. Plain and simple, they deliver. Timeflies Tuesday has transformed into a legitimate download worthy song week after week. Sulking in the defeat of our Patriots, Cal and Res redirect their positive energy to focus on the beauty of Madonna and her impressive halftime performance. At age 53 Madonna is still looking hella good lip syncing like she’s 25. Sampling one of her many hits, “Music”, Cal spurs off some incredible vocals covering the Super Bowl halftime show while paying respect to Myra Kraft. Timeflies will kick off their midwest tour this week so make sure you enjoy this video and catch them live if they’re in your city.

Another week, another rhythmic slaughtering from the fellas that fly through time.
“Hit you up with another cover. Well actually two. Had to mix it up with a freestyle though… so who knows what to call this. Shout out to Usher for a dope track.”
I know FOX is giving Timeflies some airtime, but CBS is getting an awful lot of show plugs at the end of Cal’s freestyle…are they thanking the network in advance for spinning their songs in a commercial during the highly anticipated Patriots vs. Tebow game this Saturday? Only time will tell.
