Kill Them With Colour hits us with a bootleg remix of U2’s “Ordinary Love” adding a fresh house spin to a classic rock record. The duo is made up of Toronto natives Wesley Marsh and Jason Carr who have made a name for themselves consistently releasing remixes of Kendrick Lamar, Disclosure and Bon Iver tunes among others. I strongly suggest you check out their SoundCloud. Consider this post FNT after-hours, and this record couldn’t be anymore fitting. This is a must listen and a must download!

Dubstep, Exclusive | Bon Iver – Woods (Zeds Dead Remix)
Posted by Middy on October 1, 2012
Toronto duo, DC & Hooks, better known as Zeds Dead have come through with this smooth dubstep remix of Bon Iver’s 2008 track “Woods”. Since the original did not have an instrumental component and just used various vocals to create the harmony of the song, Zed’s Dead had a lot of freedom and room for creativity as to what they wanted to do. They kept the original relaxed feel of the track, going for a more minimal percussive approach, adding low oscillating bass, distorted synths and ambient keys, all of which allow Bon Iver’s vocals to shine through and stand out.

Dubstep | Singularity and JacM

This is an amazing melodic track from Singularity. The vocals from Steffi Nguyen sound beautiful and are perfectly placed on this track. The video depicts a day in the life of a music lover, finishing off with a homeless man who brings a couple of laughs. Never really heard anything from Singularity before, glad this track of his is going to change that.
Going from crunchy melodic tune to this beautiful chilled out dubstep remix of Bon Iver. After snagging best new artist of the year from the likes of Skrillex and Nicki Minaj, Bon Iver’s vocals never seem to disappoint a listener. This incredible remix from JacM adds a ton more of emotion to Bon Iver’s already breath taking vocals. Sit back and let it take you away on this lazy Sunday.
