Dubstep is becoming a huge genre. I do post a lot of it, but oddly enough it’s not my favorite genre. More of a house and trance guy but these electro and dubstep blend track are insane. Ftampa has always dropped some sick blends, this one might be his best yet. RUN DMT was finally given a chance at the big times just in time to be a part of the Mortal Kombat soundtrack this year. Teamed up with Bird Peterson, they dropped a remix to be remembered.

This duo hailing from Wayland, Mass might catch you off guard, in a good way. Rather than pursuing the “frat-rap” sound, David von Mering and Carter Schultz have developed a unique sound that blends the sounds of Jack Johnson, Sublime, and the like to produce awesome Springtime jams. Shout out to Joakim the swede…supposably these two are big figures in Sweden who pump out hits, they’re pretty hot too. This track is a little different from the “pop” music were used to, but their popish style blends perfectly with this housey track and might just leave you playing this song over and over.

Wow, this isn’t like anything you’ve heard in a while. Milkman obviously dedicated a significant amount of time to this project as he seamlessly blends (note this is more than a mashup project) a full decade worth of tracks. He really digs in the archives, grabbing tracks like Hootie & The Blow Fish’s “Only Wanna Be With You” amongst others, to create something that reminds you of the good times both old and new. If I were you I’d download the entire project on his website but if you need some encouragement check out the tracks below, including his original mix of “Breaking Free” which is dope, like filthy dope.
