Preview, Progressive House | Laidback Luke & Hardwell – Dynamo (Preview)
Posted by Middy on March 28, 2013
Yup that title is right, Hardwell & Laidback Luke coming together on one massive track that has been wreaking havoc somewhat secretly or not over the past few weeks, especially at WMC. The track clearly blends the best of both worlds from the two artists with the big room talents of Hardwell and Laidback Luke’s bass lines and dutch influenced synth leads. Get this track April 22nd from Laidback Luke’s Mixmash Records.
Progressive House | Vicetone – Harmony
Posted by Middy on December 13, 2012
In their first Beatport release, Vicetone brings their high octane progressive house sound the highly prolific Monstercat Recordings that has garnered an almost cult like following and a reputation of catching artists before they make a name for themselves. The track gives you everything you expect from Vicetone with a driving synth progression and blends it with an orchestral arrangement that sounds like it would in a pre-battle scene of a medieval war movie. It is crazy how far these guys have come from July of this year and they show no signs of stopping. 2013 should be a huge year for these guys as they continue to put out great tracks.

Electro | Viceroy – Chase Us Around feat. Madi Diaz
Posted by BIGLIFE on July 2, 2012

It’s summer time all the time for Viceroy. His latest single “Chase us Around, featuring vocals by Madi Diaz, blends sexy vocals with the tropical disco feel that encapsulates the summer vibe. If you’re digging this track, explore his Soundcloud [linked] and stay tuned to his record label, Shark Party, for updates. And if you’re feeling charitable, go heart his track on Hypem – here.
Mashups | DOSVEC – FIVE
Posted by BIGLIFE on January 10, 2012
Now this is what I call a BANGER! DOSVEC harnesses the old school power Mylo’s Drop The Pressure and blends in four other new-school songs. Be sure to check the visuals above, they add that extra “umph” to DOSVEC’s masterpiece. Incidentally, it’s named FIVE for the New Year (2+0+1+2) and for the number of tracks he used in this mash.

Dubstep | Zeds Dead – Eyes on Fire x Jackie Boy (Zeds Dead VIP Remix Ft. Omar Lynx)
Posted by Mach on December 1, 2011
Damn, Nick over at TSIS is one lucky guy. He was at a 2 night show for Zeds Dead and they hooked him up with this sick unreleased VIP remix that they have played at few of their live shows. The track blends in Omar Lynx’s vocals from Jackie Boy with Zeds Dead’s famous Eyes On Fire. I also have provided a preview of Zeds Deads new track Ruckus The Jam, which is set to release on DIM MAK, December 6th.

Dubstep, Electro, Hip-Hop, RnB | Re:generation Project: DJ Premier, Crystal Method, Pretty Lights, & Skrillex
Posted by Mach on October 28, 2011
It only made sense to do an entire post dedicated to the project. Seeing as not only did the Skrillex collaberation with The Doors drop, but so did the other tracks off the Re:generation Project, minus Mark Ronson’s contribution which hasn’t been posted yet. I would like to note that all available mp3s of these tracks online are in fact rips from the Re:generation Project videos on youtube. This is because no actual digital copies of the tracks have been released or leaked yet.
DJ Premier isn’t one of my favorites, but after an amazing track like this one, I wouldn’t be surprised if he did some more classical/hip-hop blends.

Don’t let Crystal Method’s name deter you from listening. This track is one of the funkiest electro-rock tracks I have ever heard.

I refuse to lie. I am one of the few people to tell you that every mp3 you find right now of these, despite what quality it may say, is in fact a rip from youtube. I will also say that this track isn’t that good. Pretty Light’s Country Roads remix was a much better interpretation showing the blend of electro and country.

Last but not least (until Mark Ronson drops his gem) is Skrillex and The Doors. Probably the most anticipated track of the 5. As some noticed at the end of the video above, the video does in fact end in a second collaboration The Doors and Skrillex have done. No news yet on its name or release date.
Electro | David Guetta ft Usher – Without You (Lyrakill Remix)
Posted by GMONEY on September 17, 2011

It’s an understatement to say that Nothing But The Beat was one of the most anticipated electronic releases of the fall. Overall, I think that Guetta managed to deliver yet another smash album that deftly blends the art of electro with chart topping pop vocals. Even so, a few of the releases were begggging to be remixed. Without You is definitely one of those tracks, and Lyrakill managed to raise the bar on this already epic track. Check it out.
