Possibly my favorite genre of music, progressive house literally takes over your body with melodic build ups and synths that get you lost in the track. EDX remixed one of my all time favorite songs (posted below) and now comes at us with another progressive house track that will have you leaning back and closing your eyes before you even realize what you’re doing.

When you hear Steve Angello you immediately think Swedish House Mafia…however, Steve Angello has been putting in some work on solo projects like this masterpiece, “Open Your Eyes.” Steve Angello brings his usual progressive housey vibe to this track which meshes well with Alex Metric’s older school style. The overall production is everything you’d expect from Angello, if you like house music, you need this track…expect hundreds of remixes to come.

Benny Benassi just played in Los Angeles last night and supposedly completely killed it. Unfortunately (fortunately) I chose to go see Rusko at The Key Club where he absolutely murdered his set. Last night Chris Brown confirmed that his newest “pop” single will be “Beautiful People,” a track produced by Benny Benassi. As well all know, the electronic touch is exponentially altering the mainstream music scene. This track is proof that such changes are certainly positive. Posted above is a video of Benassi dropping the track during a New Years Eve celebration at Stereo Live in Houston, Texas. The 5:04 mark is where this new banger hits.
