Lazy Sunday calls for Bruno Mars’ “The Lazy Song” remixed by French duo Krono. Brothers Mickael et David Couderc bring the bass, and twist the Bruno Mars pop record into a French house dance floor banger. Can’t say this record is my favorite from Bruno, but this remix I’ll listen to any day! Krono managed to make Mr. Mars sound like the 6th member of the Jackson Five, and it’s all soul! Talk about a nice build up that leads to Festival Style Bangers, “A.D.D.” Episode #6 (The Only Mashup Radio Show in America) has that. The episode starts off with some Biggie, Outkast even some Killers then works its way into just straight bangers. The biggest banger of them all is the last song “Ultronic Tsunami”

Goddamn Tom Staar, you have done it again. There are some remixes that when you hear them, you just know they are perfect. This is one of them. It’s funky, groovy, upbeat, brooding, powerful and soulful all at once. I don’t usually write really glowing of tracks because some blogs think every track is a “banger anthem”, when they just aren’t, but this deserves it. Just go and get it. Catch it at 51 minutes in Steve Angello’s Tomorrowland set to help put it in perspective.

A$AP Ferg, who? Isn’t he that guy with that one really hoodrat “Work” song? Why yes, yes he is. Although, it appears that Ferg is no longer the one-hit trap star that most of us thought he was. Drafting the support of A$AP collective member A$AP Rocky, Ferg delivers yet another banger to blast throughout your suburban towns and private school parking lots.
“Shabba” is a single off of the so-aptly-titled mixtape, Trap Lord. I’ll have to deduct points for the originality of the mixtape name, but I believe Darold Ferguson Jr. (yes, that is his birth-name) has truly earned his “lord” label as he was no stranger to the vicious streets of Harlem while growing up.
If you can get past the fifteen seconds of “uhhh”‘s at the start of “Shabba”, you are in for a real treat. Check back in on August 20th for the full A$AP Ferg mixtape.

Snakehips dropped this track yesterday to “tie us over” as they continue working in the studio on their next single. If this what they scrounged up just to keep us busy then I don’t think my body is ready for what they’re about to release. Guess I’ll just have to get out all my excitement by bumpin’ along to this bad boy (shouldn’t be too hard). I wasn’t sure how to go about describing this to the virgin ear, so after perusing through the comments a little bit I pulled some helpful hints — “massive,” “outer space realness,” and my favorite, “dip swang.” So don’t be fooled by the gentle intro, this song will knock you OUT.
