At this point I’ll pretty much take any opportunity to post a Yves track. His house productions are driven by African-influenced vocals that seem to be matched by very few artists, especially nowadays. More producers should be digging into their archives and flipping tracks like these; I may not remember the last guy who remixed Black and Yellow, but I will certainly remember Rivaz from this banger. Last week TGCHU dropped a music video for their song Everyday, which is an absolute banger. For those of you unfamiliar with the group, they’re an electro-rap duo hailing from Canada that has been in the game for quite some time. Although some of the songs below are older, I found it necessary to post some of their best joints because they’ve been severely overlooked. I don’t know if its the hormones in our chicken and milk or what, but young guns seems to be relentlessly infiltrating the music scene. I thought Avicci, who emerged at the tender age of 19, was impressive, but now I’ve come across this 16 year old French kid who just kills it. His filthy Pendulum remix even graced the top spots of beatports charts a shortwhile ago. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this one. Check him out on Facebook and Twitter. This is one of those don’t shoot the messenger kind of deals. I know this remix has been out for about 3 months now. In those months this has been the least hyped remix of Skrillex’s. It’s about time the general public gets a listen at this Norwegian BANGER.
