Sydney producer POOLCLVB shares the first single, “Always”, off of his forthcoming EP ‘You + Me’. With summery, playful rhythms and samples, POOLCLVB, with the help of Carl Fox (of Porsches), has created something wonderful. From the artist, “Written and recorded in a single day, we bounced lyrics back and forth and it just came together so organically. Sometimes guys don’t express their feelings as much as girls, we wanted this track to do just that. If you find it hard to say I love you, let this track speak for you.” This track is definitely worth checking out, and if it’s any indication of POOLCLVB’s EP, it’s going to be a great one.

Los Angeles artist Jason Gaffner is back this week with the next single off his forthcoming EP with a track called “Murder In The First Degree”. This track is a great follow up to “Feel Something”, which Gaffner released just a few weeks ago. From the artist, “This song is really all about fun. Not to be taken too seriously – It’s like if an outdoor dance party and tongue in cheek crime noir had a delightful baby.” This track is definitely worth checking out, so be sure to take a peep and show Jason Gaffner some love!

Chill | Steve Void’s “Chemistry” Hit’s #4 On SoundCloud’s “New & Hot” Overall Chart And Climbing

Posted by on September 8, 2016

Steve Void is one house artist who’s hard to ignore. Few come close to his sound design ability and knowledge regarding chill house and deep house trends, and he’s been rewarded for this. Steve Void has over 11 million streams attained in under a year. If that doesn’t scream success I don’t know what does.

Steve Void’s “Chemistry” features a beautiful blend of chill house elements that have taken over the scene in the last couple of years while also taking a stab at the future bass explosion that is upon us. I’d be looking out for big things from this artist, such as a new collaboration with, let’s say, with Sam Feldt. (Hint hint.)

Interviews | Meet One Of LA’s Hottest Progressive House DJs: Varun

Posted by on July 22, 2016

Varun is one of LA’s quickest rising progressive house artists. If you are thinking this is Above and Beyond, think again. This dude goes hard and his releases speak for themselves, delivering heavy-hitting tracks with strong melodies. We go to dive into Varun’s life as a DJ/producer in our up-close and exclusive interview with Varun.

Where do you think the direction of progressive house is heading?

Varun: It’s tough to say. I love Progressive House but the scene is definitely changing. There are a lot of new styles of music that are coming out and people are loving it. The biggest shift I’ve seen are these more percussive and noise driven drops (almost seeming a bit random at times). Some of it is a bit much for me but some of it is executed pretty damn well.
