The first time Elephante took us to “The Zoo”, we wanted to stay there forever. Now, we get to go again with his newest mix installment, “The Zoo Vol. 2”. Young Tayyib Ali has been spending the last several weeks out in LA recording his EP with the tiki man, Cisco Adler. Evidently all the time in the studio had Tay feeling froggy to release some new music to his fans. Sharing with us two originals, “Anything” and “Like Dat”, as well as a remix over Wale’s “Tats On My Arm” flipped to suit any frequents of AA, titled “Straight Out The Bottle”. Although none of these will land on either Tay’s One Way EP or his next mixtape, Keystone State of Mind 2 (tentative name), new music is nothing to be frowning about.

I’ve been convinced Bei Maejor is the most talented person in the music industry since I saw his cover of Racks about a year ago. The man can do it all, he raps, he produces, he sings, and does it all at a high level. His latest video release, Pillz, only confirms my convictions. Although the video is a little trippy, it fits the chorus’ theme of “pillz” very well. Bei’s production is out of this world, and his talent is unmistakeable.
