Always looking for the freshest tracks led me to the Nashville-based producer Pink Slip, whose productions fit perfectly with his online aesthetic. “PCB” was undoubtedly a sick and forward thinking track that left me craving for more and his latest single “2 U” doesn’t disappoint. AUGUSTII acquired vocalist Anthony Pavel, who sounds very Bieber-esque, to do a vibey future bass cover of Justin Bieber’s “Sorry”. The super fresh topline rivals Bieber’s original vocals in a real way, so much so you almost forget you’re not listening to the original. I hope we hear more from both Anthony Pavel and producer AUGUSTII in the near future.
