Electro-House | The Bloody Beetroots – Keep On Dancing Feat. Drop The Lime (Angger Dimas Remix)
Posted by Middy on May 13, 2014
Sir Bob has released the remix package for one of the most popular tunes from his recently released sophomore artist album “Hide”. We highlight Angger Dimas who keeps many of the natural elements of the original and then the drop comes in with unrestrained aggression, getting after it with fearsome kicks and snares and glitchy synths. Angger Dimas has been on fire with huge collabs the past year and keeps that going with a big time remix for the knightly producer.
Albums, Exclusive, Featured, Progressive House | FNT Premiere: Sgt Slick – Everyday (Dave Winnel Vicious21 Remix) From Vicious 21
Posted by Middy on March 3, 2014
Vicious Recordings is turning 21 this year and celebrate this momentous occasion, they have compiled 21 classics and 21 new remixes of songs that represent the storied history of the label. In a genre that has only been around for about 35 years, it is all to often we see labels, clubs and other institutions fade into obscurity after a short run on top. To remain one of the great labels, riding the highs and lows of the industry and remaining a consistent force at discovering new talent and promoting great music throughout the years. Based in Australia, just a few of the guys the label has helped break include Avicii, Dirty South, Peking Duk, Angger Dimas and many more.
With the compilation coming out tomorrow on Beatport, we are proud to premiere the Dave Winnel remix of Sgt Slick “Everyday”. Those of you who are fans of Kaskade’s compilation albums (raises hand), will recognize the piano-heavy remix by Digital Lab from Dance.Love, but now hometown kid, Dave Winnel takes over the reigns for a remix fit for 2014. The stunning vocal is left intact as Dave Winnel adds a bouncy bass line underneath a bed of synths that are a mix of a throwback to when this tune was originally released and to the sounds of today. Stream the tune below before it comes out tomorrow. Check out the teaser for the compilation below and see the full tracklist after the jump.
Progressive House | Dave Winnel & Chris Arnott – Remember To Breathe (Original + FTampa Remix)
Posted by Middy on September 18, 2013
The names Avicii, Dirty South, Vandalism, Kryder and Angger Dimas probably all mean something to you. They are all artists who Vicious Recordings helped discover and released their tracks well before they hit it big. Names like D.O.D, Dave Winnel and FTampa may not be as big now, but they are guys on the current Vicious roster who are set to do the same. Dave Winnel’s “Achtung” got a ridiculous amount of DJ support from the likes of Axwell, Alesso, Arty, Sebastian Ingrosso, Porter Robinson, Tiesto, Tommy Trash and, well you get it. FTampa’s “Kick It Hard” became a late season favorite, notably championed by Hardwell and then powered its way into many other sets.
On “Remember To Breathe”, Dave Winnel goes for a more melodic, big room approach than his past few works, calling upon Chris Arnott to lay down some superb vocals. FTampa takes the song to another level, working with the original melody and adding his own complex, melodic key play to the track, accentuated by Mr. Arnott’s vocals. Also included is a Dave Winnel remix he did last month.

DJ-Set, Events, House | Electric Zoo Sets: Day 2
Posted by Middy on September 5, 2012
Here are sets from day two with some outstanding stuff from the Bingo Players, Mord Fustang, Axwell and more. This is selection of not only the MainStage, but also Riverside and Hilltop, though it is a bit disappointing that none of the Sunday School sets were recorded. Anyway there a lot of these sets so get to listening if you haven’t finished up on Day 1 yet.

Middy and I are back with our picks for Day 2 of the whirlwind parade of awesomeness that is Electric Zoo. There’s no clear theme to Day 2 (it’s not the “dubstep” day or the “trance” day), but there is a wide variety of excellent talent to look forward to and spectacles that are sure to astound and delight. Without further adieu, let’s Aoki-jump right in — fun, excitement, and madness await…
Progressive House | Laidback Luke & Angger Dimas feat. Polina – Night Like This
Posted by Middy on August 20, 2012
After releasing the instrumental version of this great track 3 weeks ago, we finally have the full vocal version of “Night Like This” that sounded incomplete without the angelic vocals of Polina. The club mix is for fans of Dirty Dutch, replacing the progressive break of the main mix with a thumping, dutch drop. The main mix is my favorite of the two, continuing the style of the build with the deftly crafted key play in the melody and growling undertow that starts in the build as an ominous rumble. The track may have lost some of its momentum with the original release of the instrumental, but do not sleep on this massive song from Laidback Luke, Angger Dimas and Polina.
Electro-House, Review | Bassjackers & Angger Dimas – RIA

This is a hot collaboration from Bassjackers & Angger Dimas, and it is climbing the beatport charts fast. The chord progression on this track is immense, I love it. Sadly I wont be in Miami this year, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this was busted out. The synths on the drop are fresh, making for a dance floor killer.
