One of the biggest knocks against electronic music has always been the lack of live instruments, but many artists, like Gryffin, are bucking the trend and proving that electronic music may be composed on a computer, but it still requires a high degree of musical talent. Since he released his debut original, “Heading Home,” earlier this year, Gryffin has been touring the world and showcasing his live show, which features the artist playing guitar, synths, drum pads, and singing at various points, further cementing his reputation as a talented musician. Now, Gryffin has unveiled the official acoustic version of “Heading Home” with Josef Salvat, and we can’t stop listening. Gryffin lays down a bed of beautiful, soaring piano chords that are perfectly complemented by Josef Salvat’s soulful croons for an emotional 3 minute video.

Leah Haxhi, NYC singer/songwriter, hits us with another Adele cover that rivals all the competition. Keeping it simple with just minimal piano and vocals, this live video gives you the feeling you are sitting right there in the studio with Leah. At first it seems as if she is keeping it very close to the original, but then the second chorus breaks off into a free-style bridge that adds a unique twist to the song. Live studio visuals by Marin Hamataj and Brenton Ruh also complement the relaxed feeling of the cover. We expect to see big things from Leah in the near future, as she is putting together a demo of original songs and also working on new tracks with various DJs and producers such as Afrojack, Shelco Garcia and Teenwolf, and some other hard-hitters in the EDM and pop world. Follow Leah for more music and updates coming soon.

Max Elto, formerly known as Taped Rai is not the most well known name coming out of Sweden but did they ever do a fantastic job on this. They are a production and vocalist duo who made their first big appearance, under their previous name on “Just One Last Time”, the stand out track from David Guetta’s pop album Nothing But The Beat 2.0. Little under a year ago, the duo released the acoustic version of “Shadow Of The Sun” and that itself was great. It has been a long time coming but the original mix is finally out and is it ever amazing. Everything about this track from the vocals, to the build, to the melody, to the drop are all top notch.
