Mix | Fly Into The Sky With Gryffin’s Flight Log 001 Mix
Posted by Tay on August 13, 2015
Mark my words, Gryffin has all the makings of the next big superstar in dance music. His music is not only perfect for the summertime, with its soaring melodies, electro-tinged basslines, and uplifting vocals, but it has some serious crossover potential. The NYC-based producer unveiled his remix of Years & Years’ “Desire” a few weeks ago, which just so happens to be the lead single off of the highly-anticipated EDM movie, We Are Your Friends, and now, the emerging star has delivered the very first episode of his brand new mix series, Flight Log. The first episode of the mix really takes off from the start, as he expertly navigates the skies through hand-selected cuts by the likes of EDX, Rudimental, and filous. Peep it above, download it below, and get ready to soar into the sky with Gryffin.

Following mixes of Michael Calfan, Benny Benassi, Shaq Aka DJ Diesel, and more, the Netherlands’ Sam Feldt gives us a sneak preview of what he is to bring to the Chattahoochee Hills of Georgia in September with the next installment of TomorrowWorld’s Exclusive Mix series. Comfortable mixing any type of deeper driven house, Sam Feldt’s knowledge of what moves and grooves is truly impressive when you see it clear cut in his mixes. For his TomorrowWorld Exclusive Mix, Sam Feldt keeps his style in tact throughout yet takes a couple quick turns to keep us on our toes. From The Him’s remix of “Headlights” to EDX’s remix of Feldt’s “Show Me Love” to Lash’s remix of “King,” this mix tells us that Sam Feldt will be bringing his A-game to TomorrowWorld in September. Up for free download as always, Sam Feldt now opens the door for another artist of TomorrowWorld to take over.

Mixes are just as important to producers as their original productions and remixes, it’s what allows us to know what inspires the artist, and Mi Ka’s been that artist that I’m still trying to figure out, as the beauty of his productions incorporate many genres, blending down tempo glitch and trap with progressive and melodic, and it’s the future. I’m 5 minutes in the mix, and I feel like I’m at church, I can only imagine how this will resonate live. Mi Ka always stay you man, the rest will come, this is a must listen!
