For this week’s installment of Sucka Free Sunday, DOSVEC gives us a taste of the past by blending Jay-Z’s “Heart of the City” with Kreayshawn’s hit, “Gucci Gucci”. Although I was skeptical at first, thinking Kreayshawn might disgrace this classic track, the result was actually quite interesting. A short edition of Middy’s Mashups, but this mashup is special. From PrototypeRaptor: Blood, sweat, and a ton of coffee went into making this track… it’s a ridiculous 8 minute and 45 second mashup/bootleg/remix of my favorite tracks from the Wolf’s new album, Weekend in America. The songs used are “Shrunken Heads/The Champ”, “The Way It Was and “Illmerica (RaptorEdit)”.

Here is Kaskades’s latest mashup he has released to the public, though he has been playing it in his sets for a while now. It is great for DJs to use because “Flash” has so much energy and the mashup works really well.

Mashups, Moombahton | Doug Bogan – Moombology

Moombahton has been taking the electronic music scene by storm as of late and I have yet to see someone incorporate Moombahton into a mashup. That is until Doug Bogan created Moombology. In constructing Moombology, Doug Bogan grabs some of the hottest Moombah tracks and layers in some familiar vocals from artists such as Ludacris, Skee-Lo and Gnarls Barkley along with some pieces of 2007’s guilty pleasure jam, Lip Gloss.
