Electro-House | Tommy Trash – Unite Kids (Private Bootleg)
Posted by Spice on June 20, 2012
In celebration of reaching 60,000 fans on Facebook, electro house maestro Tommy Trash gives us a “private bootleg” he frequently drops during shows. “Unite Kids” combines a manipulated (but no less recognizable) version of the theme from the MGMT mainstay with the banging riffs from Tommy Trash’s own remix of “Unite Us.” Cop the free DL below.
Electro-House | Dyro – Paradox
Posted by Middy on June 18, 2012
Dyro is growing in front of our eyes this year with productions such as “Raid”, “EMP“, “Saeta” his “Kontiki‘ remix and others. He has made his best productions with the help of others leading me to have lingering doubts about whether or not he could make his best original work on his own. “Paradox” just about quiets those doubts with his hard, growling electro sound and adds some layers of pitched synths to the break with adept key work and big room synths in the interlude giving an eerie feeling of anticipation of the imminent drop. Dyro’s much anticipated collaboration with Ansol “Top Of The World” is to be released July 9th so be on the look out for that as well.
Electro-House | Girls’ Generation – Mr. Taxi (Steve Aoki Remix)
Posted by Mach on June 16, 2012
Just as promised, Steve Aoki delivers with this freebie. I got to hear this banger during Aoki’s live set at I Love This City in San Francisco and it murdered the crowd. This remix bumps to a whole new level for Aoki. Turn up the volume and the bass, thank me later.
Electro-House | Wolfgang Gartner – Flexx
Posted by Middy on June 13, 2012
Coming off of his mind blowing set at Starscape (review coming soon), Wolfgang Garter has released a new single that was one of the peak moments of his set on Saturday. “Flexx” brings us back to the Wolfgang Gartner sound we know so well with his incredible production skill after the melodic “Redline“. “Flexx” gives us that hard hitting bass line, an alternating synth lead and a guitar melody that sets the tone for the track. Chopped vocal bits add to the flavor of the track with various intricate synth layers. “Flexx” is yet another quality track to add to your collection from Wolfgang Garter as he shows no sign of slowing down and that 2012 may be his best year yet.
Electro-House | CAZZETTE vs NWA – Straight Outta Compton (CAZZETTE’s Ass Sniffin’ Hounds Bootleg)
Posted by Middy on June 8, 2012
Cazzette takes this classic Hip Hop track and adds their dub house flair to it. This has been a big track in their sets and since there was almost no chance of this getting signed, the Swedish duo has been kind enough to give this out for free. Cazzette has an extensive catalog of unreleased tracks, a trademark of At Night artists to keep us always anticipating another great Cazzette track. They made noise at EDC NYC with their new headgear and their bass filled electro house set. They keep much of the original track, while adding a pounding bass line, growling electro house synths and pitched leads. Cazzette is on tour in the US now with EDC Las Vegas this weekend and upcoming stops on the Avicii Le7els tour.

Electro-House | Zedd – Spectrum (feat. Matthew Koma)
Posted by Middy on June 4, 2012
Despite being leaked a little while ago, Zedd’s masterpiece “Spectrum” with Matthew Koma still has nearly all the momentum behind its release. Zedd has grown immensely as a producer, exploring new styles and sounds, while becoming a globally recognizable name not just in niche circles, but in the mainstream conscious. This is not the typical formula of a Zedd track, though he has been experimenting lately with his hardstyle track “Shotgun”. Spectrum is more progressive than what we usually expect from the German with the vocals from Matthew Koma that are different from your usual house vocals, almost reminding me for Dream Theater’s vocals, with intricate key play long synth chords and a slow, calculated bass line in the build. It crescendos into a break of driving bass, pulsing synth chords and a well crafted, pitched melody with an electro house interlude that we would expect to hear from Zedd. Expect to hear this early and often from your favorite electro house producers this festival season and plenty during Starscape this Saturday.
