We’ve been noticing that you guys have been really digging these “essentials” playlists that we’ve been putting out for Electro and Dubstep, so Grubeats‘ and I decided to compile our own 35 track playlist of absolute hip-hop MUST DOWNLOAD‘s for you to get your ears wet to. The playlist has some tracks that go back almost a year and a half ago, and covers everything from west-coat hip-hop to frat rap and everything in between. I.O.U. has come a long way in a year. A few months after dropping their first mixtape BOMBS, the duo was opening for the likes of Far East Movement, Kid Cudi, And Rick Ross. Today they’re releasing their new project, Love,Great.Humans. The majority of the tracks were produced by themselves, which gives the mixtape’s a truly unique touch. Luda just dropped his Back To The Future mixtape today and I got to say, I’m surprised by the content. The majority of the whole tape’ sounds very Southern, with its slow beats and chopped up hooks, which is surprising from Ludacris, given the electro/pop-rap road he’s taken over the past few years. With features from Rick Ross, Wiz Khalifa, and Big K.R.I.T. there’s at least one track on here that everyone can enjoy.

Love him or hate him, there is no denying that Hendersin is one of the hardest working talents in the game. His latest mixtape, I F.L.Y., really puts this work ethic on display. This 21 track project features a wide range songs, from introspecitve tracks such as What You Looking at? and Keep Ya Head Up (my personal favorite track on the tape) to upbeat hip hop songs like Turn Around. With features from many of FNT’s favorite artists, including Kinetics, Collin McLoughlin, and Mike Stud, you definitely don’t want to miss I F.L.Y.

With the release of his newest mixtape, I.F.L.Y, almost upon us, Hendersin decided to give his fans a little treat before they get the opportunity to grab the whole project tomorrow. According to the man himself,
The story behind the video is me watching where I have come from to where I am currently. All the way from a high-school basketball player with dreams of playing professional ball to an upcoming rapper with a musical reach well beyond my wildest dreams.

A$AP Rocky is on a roll to say the least. He just signed a 3 million, yes million, dollar deal with Sony/RCA. He will be opening for Drake’s Club Paradise Tour, along side other up and coming MC Kendrick Lamar. This mixtape just adds fuel to the fire. I was really impressed with his work. His unique flow over quality beats. Definitely watch out for some of his new stuff.
