Electro, Girl Fire, Hip-Hop | Flo-Rida feat. Akon – Who Dat Girl

I’ve never said much about Akon because I never really get the time to write. There’s something special about Akon though. Like his voice or not, when he jumps on a song, there’s instant recognition. It’s almost like he’s the star player on a team that makes his teammates all up their game. I’m a massive Akon supporter. Not just because T-Pain and Lady Gaga are his slaves cash-cows, but because he’s got undeniable star quality.

Girl Fire, Hip-Hop | Nicki Minaj – Roman’s Revenge (Feat. Eminem)

As animated as her facial expressions are, she really missed out on a potentially lucrative mime career. On top of that, the beat was absolute garbage. It’s hard to watch someone like Swizz Beatz, who’s a real talent, fall off. Maybe I should give him the benefit of the doubt and say he’s “inconsistent”. I really hope this wasn’t one of those, “If you do a verse on my album I’ll do one on yours” kind of trade. I’m not trying to see a Nicki Minaj feature on Em’s album. Eminem must have had to been paid a large amount for this feature because it was painful to listen to.

Girl Fire | Ke$ha- Sleazy

As Ke$ha readies her new EP ‘Cannibal’ for a November release, a new song from the opus’ has surfaced in the form of ‘Sleazy’. The track is produced by Bangladesh. I had a friend who recently tried to book Ke$ha at Bucknell. In her rider, she requires a “an eighth of cocaine, patron, peanut butter, and white bread”. Now that’s sleazy!
