My parents are super into the White Stripes (yea, they’re cool enough for me to reference). I’m sure my dad was upset when they broke up–no more sick guitar breakdowns for him to play hockey to. Although I haven’t felt the same sort of sentiment towards that type of music, The Glitch Mob’s remix of “Seven Nation Army” has made my preconceived notion seem invalid.
I mean…this remix is pretty filthy. I feel like this is the kind of song that can make a girl go crazy (for all you guys who can’t score–maybe this will help).

Shout out to Joakim the swede…supposably these two are big figures in Sweden who pump out hits, they’re pretty hot too. This track is a little different from the “pop” music were used to, but their popish style blends perfectly with this housey track and might just leave you playing this song over and over.

I almost feel guilty posting this mixtape because Sean Kingston seems too “Disney” for me. I want to hide my secret love for his poppy reggae-like music, but it’s too difficult to keep songs like Dutty Dutty at low volume levels when they’re on deck. Hopefully a few of our fans feel the same way and will appreciate this project which features collaborations with the likes of Justin Bieber, B.o.B, Flo-Rida and Akon. Sometimes SweetE isn’t so feisty…today is one of those days (although it doesn’t happen often). Yes, I love my filthy dubstep and electronic. But on days like this, when inches upon inches of slush have covered my city’s glorious sidewalks, I’d rather stay inside and listen to some RnB. Music that’s crafted by male artists who know what kind of lyrics females gush over.
Sure, these tracks are pretty mainstream. And yes, they will most likely end up on the radio. But us ladies like that sappy stuff every once in a while. Oh, and while your at it…check out the Sean Kingston track featuring B.O.B, “Hope is a River,” that BIGLIFE posted yesterday.
