Trap | Mr. Carmack – Roller (Lindsay Lowend Remix)
Posted by Mach on June 30, 2013
It’s not everyday you hear a deep Trap song like this. Mr. Carmack had a cool original, but Lindsay Lowend takes the win with this. You have to play this loud with a good sub because the bass really moves through you on this remix. That paired with the minimal style blend of Trap and Hip-Hop gives you another Summer essential.
Electro, Trap | Laura Mvula – Green Gardens (Djemba Djemba Remix)
Posted by mimada on June 27, 2013
I admire Djemba Djemba as an artist for introducing me to other artists that aren’t on my radar that very well should be. Before listening to this remix, I checked out the video for “Green Gardens” (above) which features Laura Mvula and company dancing around in parking lots and a mysterious forest wonderland at dusk. Both the song and the video are really beautiful, actually, as is Laura herself. What’s also awesome about Djemba Djemba’s remixes is that they don’t take away from the quality of the original version. In fact, this track hardly references “Green Gardens” other than a select few of the lyrics. However, Djemba Djemba maintains the same bright and empowering vibes that make the original so unique and makes them work in his own way.
I have to say though… As great as Laura Mvula’s dance party looks, I think Djemba Djemba’s green garden is where it’s at.

Hip-Hop, RnB, Trap | KR$CHN – Stolen Moments EP
Posted by Mach on June 25, 2013
KR$CHN has been on a roll with releases over the past few weeks, and today I bring you his awesome new EP, “Stolen Moments”. The EP opens with “Kush Calling” which more than so, speaks for itself. KR$CHN takes a cool approach on this track, kicking it of with some dope verses and ending it beat strong. The second track “Headbandz” was posted a few days ago and is by far one of my favorite tracks on the EP. It has a great flow that you cannot help but get addicted to. “Dead People” made me curious, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect with how it opened with the hook, but it ended up taking my ears by storm. The beat is dirty, but it is the verses that really reflect the mood that KR$CHN must have been trying to put out. Last, but certainly not least, “Cold Moments” is the only R&B track of the EP. The vocals are beautiful, taking you through a long hallway to a silky red bed. The word “sex” best describes this track. KR$CHN blew away my expections with this EP, these are 4 of the most incredible tracks to be compiled on an EP such as this. Keep your eyes peeled for more from this guy, I believe he is just getting started.
Update: KR$CHN has recently increased the number of tracks currently on the EP!

Electro, Electronic, Hip-Hop, Trap | DJ Smiles – Twerk Trap

We here at Fresh New Tracks are excited to bring you the newest mix from none other than, DJ Smiles! The disc jockey best known for his worldwide touring with reggae-duo, Aer, has decided to liven up your summer with this epic forty-five minute mix guaranteed to get you hyped!
DJ Smiles released The State of the Come-Up this past January, featuring some of the hottest rising rappers in the game, and while we anxiously await the next volume of the series, Smiles tides us over with “Twerk Trap”. If I told you that the likes of Tyga, Trinidad Jame$, Young Jeezy, and Lil Mama, were featured on the mix, you’d probably drop what you were doing and start twerking on spot — so I won’t tell you that. But, what I will tell you is that this song-collage is well worth the near-hour you’ll be investing into it.
All of you readers are the first to listen DJ Smiles’ mix, so feel lucky, and spread the love by dropping him a comment over on Soundcloud!
Trap | Kanye West – Black Skinhead (Alex Young + Royal’s Horny Remix)
Posted by mimada on June 20, 2013

I had a Twitter revelation the other day that went something along the lines of, oh, “You know you’re old when you can look back on the days when people used to play Kanye West at parties.” But I mean, really, Yeezus is more apt for times like “Take charge and start a riot” than it is “Kickin’ back with the homiez.” However, Alex Young has restored my faith in the fact that I might still be able rock out to Kanye like I used to. This time, rather than at a house party, it’ll be at the front row of one of Alex Young’s shows, which seems more appropriate anyways.
This track is really just an example of the artistic potential that Yeezus presents its listeners with. Looking forward to all the remixes to come.

RnB, Trap | The-Dream – IV PLAY (Gladkill Remix)
Posted by Mach on June 19, 2013
Oh wow, it really didn’t take too long for me to get lost in this remix. I have to admit, I use to be into The Dreams music and listening to this remix from Gladkill takes his great R&B vocals to a whole other level, somewhere between the floor and a bed. This is some real baby making music, your girlfriend will appreciate you for downloading this.

It’s late, I’m tired, and we hit 50k likes on Facebook. I think a little celebration is in order. SevnthWonder dropped this gem the other day, it’s a tasty blend of Trap and R&B. One the sexier tracks you will come across on this fine Saturday night. Enjoy.
